My game crashes when a new month ticks over.
In the attached save just run it for a couple of in game hours till the month ticks over.

I've fixed it for myself by turning on save scumming, so the random number seed is changed when I reload, presumably it hasn't fixed the problem though it just isn't trying to spawn that mission any more.

This is a cool mod, I'm really liking the new features in it.

I've found a bit where the game crashes, in the attached save if you run time forwards, ignoring the completed research and the ufo, a soldier will complete assault specialisation that's fine, then 4 new soldiers arrive, if you go to base, either by clicking the 'go to base' button on the pop-up or oking the pop-up and going to the base yourself, and then go to the soldiers tab the game freezes, this happens even if you return to the geoscape first and then go back into the base, it doesn't freeze if you click the any other tab.

A few other soldiers are also about to complete specialisation an hour or so later, if you wait for them to finish then going to the soldiers tab is fine.

Note the actual save game is called _autogeo_.asav not Bugsave, as its a geoscape autosave.

In the UAC vaults mission the game crashes.
In the attached save if you hit end turn the ai turn starts as normal, but part way through the game crashes.

This is the second UAC vaults mission I've done, in the first one it did crash in the ai turn once but when I reloaded and tried again it didn't repeat and I completed the mission perfectly. So it may not reproduce every time; although in this one I've tried it 3 times and it has crashed every time.
Only other information is that in the 2 missions the enemies where different so I would guess it's not specific to them.

Doesn't the betrayer commendation give voodoo skill, I'm sure I've used that to get off of 0 voodoo skill before.
Just buy yourself some dogs and some double barrelled shotguns and the next time your on a map with some barns you should be sorted.  ;D

I think the problem was that I was intending to fix the palette colours for the whole sprite sheet  instead of every image individually but the sprite combiner wants them to be in the correct palette first. Once I corrected the palette first it worked.

Additionally I think you need to make the images into multiples of 32 by 40 pixels before you put them through as well, the sprite combiner won't object if you don't but PCKView will when you try to import the sprite sheet.

I tried to use the sprite combiner to form a sprite sheet, which I believe is what it does, but after hitting the convert button it just changed to 'error' and I can't find out what the error is.
The images I'm trying to convert are .png and I have 11 of them. I've tried converting all 11, just 1, 8 as that's the default no. of rows and changing the no. of rows to 11 but it hasn't helped.
The images are being uploaded fine as I can see them under the tool.

Below the images I've uploaded it says this:  no result image yet click show - convert - convert

So is there only one error it can be or am I missing where it tells me what the error is.

Thanks for the help but it's still not working completely.
I tried using the RulesetConverter and a couple of things happened.
I found the .RUL file in the piratez folder and ran the converter and it gave me an error message. See 1st attachment. I told it to continue but it didn't create the .TPL file.
To see if the problem was the file or if I'd just not done it properly I tried it on the the 'Xcom Files' ruleset and this time it made the .TPL file. I then copied the contents into the MapTilesets.yml and now when I try to run MapView I have the Xcom files maps so that works.

[Edit] I fixed the problem, there was a duplicate line in the file and when I commented it out, it found another duplicate line but at 39007, when I commented that out too it worked. I was converting the piratez.rul file.
When adding the contents of the .tpl file into the .yml and then running mapview I also got another duplicate key error. Due to me copying everything across verbatim, including the key 'tileset' at the top of the file, commenting that out fixed it.

I've downloaded 'MapView' and it seems to work fine, I can edit the maps that it has. It only has however the default vanilla maps and I can't work out how to get it to see any others.
Specifically I've got the Piratez mod installed, which has a bunch of none vanilla maps but I can't get 'MapView' to see them. I've tried directing the resource path to the Piratez UFO folder but that didn't seem to help, however it did do something as it then complained it didn't have the cursor.pck/.tab. But after adding those it still wouldn't see the maps.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if this is a bug with Piratez or just xcom in general but I had a Courier ship performing a courier mission in the pacific region, and after following it for a while it 'landed' in the middle of the ocean and the map used for the fight was the surface of Mars map. The geoscape picture is as soon as the game returned to geoscape so where the ship is, is where the ship 'landed'.
I think this happened before, a freighter I was following also landed in the middle of the pacific, but I was following with an interceptor instead of a transport and so I declined to attack and the ship just immediately took off again.

I think there is a lift in the ship and lift tiles don't count as exit tiles. If you shift the girls a tile towards the openings it should be fine.

I just had a missile strike destroy 3 of my buildings, an extractor, a still and, I think, a barracks and now I can't rebuild them, or build anything else in those spaces. It says 'facility in use'.

Hey all
I've made a small map, really just to test out and familiarise myself with MapView2.
It uses the Forest, Barn and Urban tilesets.
I was wondering if someone with a couple of thousdands of hours in the map editor could just check it over and let me know all the critical errors, glaring flaws and general bad practices I've filled it with.
And if anyone wants to use it in a mod please feel free.
