I like Battle-hardened. Patient needs something better I guess.

On that note, I dont like the name of the commendation "Betrayer" either. If you are going as far as to call someone a betrayer, why keep him in the organisation?

"Teamkiller" or "Cross-eyed" would be better imo.

I've tested a couple of simple missions few minutes ago and had used only one soldier (60+ melee skill) with katana. No exp in melee was gained. Looks like the cap of basic melee skill is on 60+.

Huh  :o . Unless something changed in XCF 1.0, the cap for melee accuracy should be much higher.

This is my top guy from 0.9.9 (I started over with 1.0). I got his melee accuracy to 96 by putting him in a jumparmor and giving him the "ancient katana" and then let him kill at least 2 melee strange lifeform creatures each mission. If you can fly, you can just land behind a critter and slash it in the back  ;) and then fly up afterwards. No risk  ;D

I had the same question so I googled it... in the soldiertransformations files:

Spoiler:
- STR_MARTIAL_ARTS_TRAINING
    cost: 2000
    transferTime: 320
    requiredMinStats:
      tu: 60
      stamina: 70
      throwing: 55
      melee: 70
      psiStrength: 30
      mana: 75

Edit: after looking at your soldier, it appears it has to be base stats without commendation bonuses. So your melee is still too low.

Either way, it's basically fatigue. As it gets lower and lower, your units will regenerate less energy and TU until they cannot move at all. It is spent while fighting in a mission, especially by using PSI stuff, and it refreshes at the base by resting here, thus encouraging you to have more teams ready to rotate.

So, do your soldiers have enough readiness to finish a big mission like a Cult HQ assault on superhuman? Where you have to kill about a hundred enemies.

Anyone else feeling a "Cesar Milan" Dossier coming up?  ;D

OK, I'll think about this seriously. But I need a way to make it a later game thing, some sort of biological mastery.

Maybe you need to capture/retrieve a scientist experienced in something neurosciency with dogs from a syndicate compound. Make it a one-time only mission.

Enabled enforced storage limits
If I open a savegame with a base which has its storage capacity already exceeded, will it automatically delete items?

I have one question. Can you add more music to the game? For example from Apocalypse, UFO Afteramth etc.
Or is there problem with licence? If so, is there way to add music by people? I found SOUND folder, but Im not sure if or when will music play.
Thx

As far as I know, without changing any codes, you can just add mp3 to the Sound folder, and change the musicfilename to the corresponding file. If you want to add music to Geoscape, you still have slot GMGEO4 till GMGEO9 open.

If you are still open for music suggestions, I have 2 from Frank Klepacki:
C&C - "Rain in the Night"
C&C Tiberiun Sun - "Dusk hour"

These are sound tracks that really work well with this genre IMHO.

I know, this is a tiny minor inconvenience that doesnt happen much.

But I was playing Xcomfiles, Black lotus HQ, and I just used the motionscanners at the start of the turn to see the enemy location with Alt, when I had to quit.

When I reloaded the game, pressing Alt didnt show any enemy locations anymore, but the spend timeunits were gone.

Could it be possible to save that info into your safefile?

"Ben & Lewis Save the world" is what got me back to Xcom after all these years and I assume enough people here have watched them, so I thought it would be nice if they would get their own dossier according to their playstyle.

Name: Lewis & Ben

Role: Terrorists

Affiliation: Men in Black

Details: 2 Commanders from MiB who campaign across the globe with no regard for human life, whilst posing as Xcom operatives. They leave a trail of terror & destruction behind wherever they go. Their main purpose is to tarnish the good name of Xcom and create international tensions, thus removing the main obstruction to the alien invasion.

Status: Xcom's most wanted

As for the picture, I was thinking of Lewis & Ben in MiB suits, having a "cool guys dont look at explosions" pose  8) . But before I went ahead with my mediocre photoshop skills, I thought it would be better to wait for your opinion on it.

Maybe even a mission where you have to capture them dead or alive, where they and their crew only use High-Ex, rockets and grenade launchers ;D

PS. Xcom Files is an amazing mod! Thanks alot for creating it.
