Sounds great. Such mod would also create oportunities to implement new alien weapons and new earth weapons based on research from previous war. You would start with some less powerful plasma weapons made on earth and advanced laser rifles which would be at the time more widespread than conventional firearms.

Thank you FeruEnzeru. I think it would be something like that humanity in year 203X sends an Avenger class ship to their planet/colony and you would be in role of ships commander. You would need to research completely new weapons which aliens use on their homeworld and so on.

Greetings to all XCOM players? I just had an idea. Wouldnt it be interesting to have game where we invade aliens. There are plenty of games where aliens invade Earth but i didnt see one where exact opposite happens. It would be interresting theme for a mod or a game where we have our revenge and invade their own planet. What do you think?

I think it would be a good idea to make less weapons avalible at the beginning so its not so complicated to read all the ufopedia entries at the beginning. Maybe you could make a research topic to unlock some powerfull weapons like devastating cannon and impact cannon. Also some aircraft seem excess. You will never use them like bomber crafts...

I think the alien infantry should be encountered early-game in large amounts becouse the late game aliens will be good equiped and they wouldnt risk theyre lives outside of tripods

Since in the book is writen that the infantry weapons didnt do much to the tripods, it would be logical to implement martian infantry or some kind of crude improvised tier 1 tripods the aliens build after landing without such defensive capabilities. The player would then have to research some heavy weapons like howitzers (which would have to be manned (equiped instead of armor like it is in XPiratez) and use the primitive anti-tank weapons that already existed like Mauser 1918 T-Gewehr. In case you would really implement martian infantry then they would need some 1910s scifi theme weapons, something like rayguns and death rays. I think that for martian units you could use waspite texture and lightly modify it. And one more idea, do you have a weapon that would replace blaster launcher? I remember when i was playing Ufo Afterlight there was a weapon called lightning ball thrower and such weapon would fit perfectly into tesla weapon tier. My best wishes

I think it would be interesting if you added chemical weapons, like mortar shells filled with mustard gas and so on.

Hi. Forgiveness for slow to respond. I have already found the error. In the XCOM1 folder, in the ruleset terrains, you must add this line to the end of XBASE:
- name: XBASS_21
         width: 10
         length: 10

Thank you. It worked. Ill contunie to play and send you any bugs i found. BTW almost all the weapons you can get at the begining feel so underpowered against human opponents. Its funny when i shoot legion soldier with anti-material rifle 5 times and he doesn't even bleed. But still Endless war is great mod :-)
