btw., besides, now, just now i got such 1idea: - about kinds of fire, && kind of ..guns  (weapon) -

i thinking, overall in whole ufo-x-com core, /engines, there should be those mode, kind of firing, AND kind of weapon divided, and mngemented approximately such, according this table :

--> and, there, in ufo-x-com_core -engines, there should be created (if even possible doable) (at minimal, at least) TWO DIFFERENT .. (streams, handlers, for firing´s functions..)   KIND, type of firing :
(if doable)


snipers, all "sniper-genre guns,   all nimrod, jaeger rifles, etc  ==:  very accurate *MODE of FIRING,  --   fire at 1point, just *Sniper mode Firing"


 

and for all types of miniguns, gatlings, GAU-xx, machineguns too, etc ==:  *mass -mode firing,   mass-firing

..and also, acurrancy, and all concerning parameters - counting now separately, and extra, for this category of firing, -  so,   extra accurancies, (and all others relevant parameters) for point, Sniper Firing,

"Picnic_at_way" Site mission = investigation, collecting, and researching artefacts, events, anomalies, and penomenons, leaved at abandoned UFO -contact site = "Zone"..

i suggest new kind of character for X-C.F. - Stalkers, as collectors, pathfinders, and veteran"scouts" of locals Zone sites

btw2 - why, EVEN WHY,  you all .."keep" and develop 2 (almost) IDENTICal_by_theme mods ? ?  with ~~exact identical topics, themes, things, leitmotives, contents, ideas, etc...

i personally would, at best, (as best solution)  -  just joint, /merge of 2 into 1big.. 

(  ..simply fuse them, combine them both, into 1 bigger mod, ..under name *Area51 x-Files*,  for example..

Nope, its not another thread about introducing soldier classes  :P
Would it be possible to have multiple different trainings (in the same gym), basically one for each stat?
Well not exactly one for each stat, but more or less role.
E.g. you get a rookie that just really sucks at shooting but has decent melee.
Instead of putting him for some months into a general training, you just put him in melee training to get a usable strength/melee rating and he´s gonna be a brawler...
So still can't shoot for shit, but decent melee attacker in faster time. You can put him in other trainings after that as well, each just once of course.

Sorry, not possible. I had similar ideas initially - wanted to make a shooting range and a gym. Nope.

 .. yap, it just get me on mind, - almost exactly as it is used in Fallout Shelter game

(..there is such *S.P.E.C.I.A.L.* training - for every kind of stats (Strength, P..xx.., Energy, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, Luck..),there is own training room for it..

..or, even better solution, - one big, universal training room with optional, (settingable) setting between those RPG´ parameters stats

I don't want to poke around this forum (yet) because I fear spoilers. But I just want to say, WOW.

When I started streaming this I was excited about the prospect of starting with just a couple agents in a car trying to prove that aliens even exist. Maybe some x-files type investigating of other supernatural events. But I wasn't expecting anywhere near all this. You've got everything from werewolves to the underdark. And suddenly the Thing! And just, so much.

Seriously amazing work guys.

This megamod will allow you to grow X-Com from its humbled beginnings, as a two-men team travelling the world in an expensive-looking car to the global the military force we all know and love. It contains many, many additions, like new mission types, enemies, equipment and story arcs (including the entirety (entirely?, - like WHOLE? ) of my previous project, the Final Mod Pack). It also places the game a bit more firmly in the 90's conspiracy genre and its clichés.
Defeat the enemies from the outer space, the oceans the underground, (..and from the ..dark, darkest corners of mind and space, dimensions.. ), but primarily within our own society!
