I found an inconsistency...
After having researched Alien Alloys, we are proposed to do research on the "manufacture of Alloys"!
Ok!
But if you look in the workshops you already have the possibility to manufacture these Alloys!
Not very consistent!

So I added these lines in a "rul" file:

manufacture:
  - name: STR_ALIEN_ALLOYS
    requires:
      - STR_ALIEN_ALLOYS
      - STR_ALLOY_MANUFACTURING

Two small questions, please!

I use OXCE 7.5.3 + UNEXCOM. Like other packages, you have to add one or more pilots in the planes. Ok!
But when this plane is shot down, the name of the pilot does not go in the "Memorial of the missing"!
Is it possible to modify this fact?

I had "translated" on the site an information like that following an interception by a "HunterKiller", one could recover all or part of the crew of our shot down plane...
Did I "translate" correctly and is it active in OXCE ?

I am not an installation specialist...
But here is how the Mod is installed in my OXCE :
- the "data" folder is renamed: "Aliens_Extra_UFOs_v1.4.1"
- in this new folder I added a "metadata.yml" file
- this file is written as follows:
name: "Aliens Lukes extra UFOs"
version: "1.4.1"
author: "Luke83 & TurkishSwede"
description: "Extra UFO Maps !"
id: aliens_lukes_extra_UFOs
master: xcom1


- and the "Aliens_Extra_UFOs_v1.4.1" folder is installed in my game : x:\_GAMES\OpenXcom_Ex\user\mods

And everything works since years !  ;)

Note: in my game (and contrary to the opinions expressed in this forum) all added mods are in this folder !

I recall there was some mods that add more ufo variants.
I have an "old" Mod from 2015 that changes a lot in the alien ships...  ;)
Aliens_Extra_UFOs_v1.4 by Luke83 & TurkishSwede
   Included:  7 Medium Scout layouts+
             12 Large Scouts layouts+
             11 Harvester layouts+
             10 Abductor layouts+
              8 Terror Ships*
              4 Supply Ships*#

Found several bugs.
For the non-existent chain "STR_ELERIUM_115_UFOPAEDIA"...
Here is a quick fix!
- In the file "\From the Apocalypse\Ruleset\ufopaedia_apoc.rul", look for the line "- id: STR_ELERIUM_115"...
- replace the line "text: STR_ELERIUM_115_UFOPAEDIA" with the line ""text: STR_ELERIUM_115_UFOPEDIA"

Until Robin makes a fix, this fix will give you the original game description...

I use very old Mods in OCXE.
The problems I'm having are with the Base facilities (number of floors) and with the bodies of new aliens/soldiers/civilians...

If one day I find a rocket launcher on the ground, I won't be able to use it without the risk of it blowing my nose...
So in the same way if I find an alien weapon, I will have the same risk...
