i want to say thanks(again?) for this awesome mod, dioxine!
i have a question though:
did you try making bows with pocket-hold or offhand-hold ammo?
paying reload-times for a bow doesn't make sense to me.

i'm one step further now, did a new install of oxce on my phone, got xpiratez recognised!
but when stsrting, it takes a while and brings me back to the folder selection screen.
verbose logging shows this error:
[ERROR]   Error linking 'STR_ENVIRO_COLD' in startingConditions: Armor STR_STR_SCOUT_OUTFIT_UC not found
i understood all the other messages in the log, but not this one... :/

Thank you,

i've installed oxce from the link you provided.
started once to create the folder structure.
let oxce copy the tftd & ufo files.
now i've copied the folder from my xpiratez installation user/mods/piratez to openxcom/mods, now looks like: openxcom/mods/piratez/*.*
do i have to point the oxce-folders to somewhere else?
they are all pointed to /openxcom/
and i can't choose xpiratez as a mod, only ufo & tftd

many thanks in advance for the help!

I can't get x-piratez to work.
UFO / TFTD runs fine, but the piratez mod doesn't show up.
i've placed the piratez-files under mods and under mods/piratez ...
could somebody give me a hint?

can you tell me, what needs to be done to use the gauss weapons(pistol etc.)?
the bootypedia-entry says, they are protected by unbreakable encryption :/

XPZ Strategy/Tactics / Weapon damage calculation spreadsheet
« on: December 25, 2017, 11:44:40 pm »
Hi there,

being a little frustrated while trying to figure out which weapons to use for my gals i decided to create this spreadsheet to help me - and i'm sharing it with you!
But maybe you can help me too?
I don't know, what the following mean:
- Shock x1,5(or 4 ...)
- Extra Damage (Lethal): x%

Where should i get the values from? The wiki differs, at least in the 2 marked lines, from the values shown ingame...
I would be glad about improvement suggestions.
The whole thing is still WIP and atm only includes weapons i've already reserched.
Sorry, but i have no access to excel atm, file type is OpenofficeSpreadsheet.

Update 26.12.2017:
 - more weapons inside

Hi,

no crash here - just tried to do a "Escape Tower"-mission, but just couldn't find any escape tower ^^.
Version is 0.99H2
In the next try, it dug up the fitting mission - but i get -points for killing the inhabitants of the escape-craft?
