Another one:

I've managed to get a CLAW, with the Jasana cannon. But that cannon did not reload, even after 3 days.
Then, I disabled / reactivated the cannon (by chance) and only after that it started to reload ...

I was wondering why the ninjas were so weak and puny in my current run, while they were a pain in the ass in my others run.
I mean, i've unlocked assault armor and hovertank, yet no serious ninja threat and I can't start a war with them.

Turn out, I killed them so hard on the geoscape that I had no chance to do the "Attack on Govt" mission (You need to let the ennemy craft do it mission).
So I couldn't get the "Officers defended from ninjas" topic, which is needed for the "Ready for Ninja War" event (it unlock the *Pirates vs. Ninjas* research, which prevented hard ninja missions - or the ninja base - from spawning.

PS : I upgraded in the middle of the save, so maybe it played a role.

Yep, it was abandoned somewhere in the mansion. That or you played with too much explosives near your stuff.

Too bad there isn't a button to send all the unequipped stuff to the base ...

A few cannons like theses : https://xpedia.netlify.app/##STR_FLAK_DEFENSES should do the trick. Also work with ratmens and demons.
There are others buildings - Like the overcharged radar or the Hefaistos battery - that can help you if you haven't unlocked the cannons, but they are more expensive.

As for stopping the rockets for spawning, I think you need to research the "Recalibrate Shadowtech" topic.

Organ Grinder are actually fairly simple :

Use a team of gals equipped with Combat/Trench shotgun and Smokey armor, and go there during the day.
Or better, go with peasants with Aqua suit.

You can kill everything with the automatic shotgun, and you're protected from the acid rain, the acid weapons and the deadly smoke weapons. Just watch out for the dogs, your gals are dead if they are caught.
If you stun a ghoul and you don't need it, execute it. They have great hp regen.


If you don't have good armors, it's a major pain in the ass through. The acid rain will melt your armor randomly, and the smoke attack are deadly

What precisely were you using? High armour, mind control, non-surrendering enemies corralled away while you bark'n'bite the rest, something else?
I would say, dogs barking at a stunned enemy. Count as hitting an enemy with an attack.
Guess they lack confidence  :P

Be aware that dumbass captain really wants you to have a luxury spa in your main base, which I don't like building in the first hideout. The solution: remember that you can shuffle the order of your hideout, your "main base" is always the leftmost one.
For better or worse, you have less need for personal databases and can spend most of them on scamming and spoofing to get cash and glamour.
Are you sure about the main base thing ? I usually place the luxury spa with the Red Mage / Space Comms Center in another base, just to have a hangar and an Industrial Printer in the first base.
But if what you say is true, then it's a bad idea.

That cat will really hurt your score when you accidently blow it with a mortar / rocket.
Or when it sit under a cyberdisc facing you on your starting position on the first turn.

But they are really nice for that underground mission with spiders !

Using the project Recruit: Catgirl Tourist, I can recruit catgirls without having any catgirl tourists in my dungeon hotel.
Looking at the others projects of the same type, It should need a tourist.
