I think this facalieties include my Upgraded Facalities mod. But i thinking faster building so, i made General Building too (its an empty space, for faster building)

What you think about mixed Large buildings? 200 storage + 200 living room? or another rate?

Once you finished with your additions to 0.30 just send me a zip file with all the chances from 0.30 and I'll publish it as 0.31.

Oh, nevermind! Hahaha I checked it and I had not put the corrected version in my game. I was using the wrong version. XD

Hi, everyone! Finally after several attempts, I was able to make the backgrounds work!

I applied the advice of both Meridian and Warboy, first I applied the palette that Meridian provided me and then the modified palette of Warboy and voilá!

The only one that I could not fix at all, was the one on the research page (BACK05), I hope you can check it to see what's wrong and fix it.

easiest method i've found:
first, save the default palette.
then create a copy of the palette with all the colours except the specific 16 you need to be using changed to something like #FF00FF or #00FF00 and save it seperately.
next, convert the source image to RGB
then convert the source image back to an indexed palette, importing the altered palette you saved earlier, this should auto-assign all the colours correctly.
lastly, import the default palette WITHOUT converting to RGB.

the first and last steps are entirely optional, but should be considered "good practice"

Oh, ok! I get it! The sprite sheets are what you make in Photoshop using your grid, right?

Will anything happen if I use an image that does not have this isometric axis? (like the Huey, per example)

I have reviewed your video tutorial a couple of times. It looks quite interesting, I understand that you had previously explained in this same post about the previous steps. Right now, I'm reading the MCD Edit page in the UFOpaedia. :)

EDIT: Haha I just checked MCD Edit. And my question is... how to work from an image? I mean, how to import an image. Is it required to be in a particular format? (.png)

Hello there!

I gave a quick read to your post, your work is really amazing.  ;D I would like to make some models, such as helicopters, tanks, APCs, etc. But I'm not sure how to start or what I need. Do I need a 3D model or with an isometric image is it enough? the ripped resources from other games do work? What tools do you use? How are the spritesheets used? How to get started? Thanks in advance!  ;D

The Dynavert Battlescape model will be needed, so it's a great idea to have it. I could also use Hueys and other helicopters when designing terrain, but their range and speed make them rather impractical for actual combat operations.

Great! I hope it works! And if everything works, even we can do the parachute landing zones of the Twin Otter/Sherpa/Bronco etc, if you are still interested.

I know that Hueys and most helicopters aren't an option, because the short range/slow speed. But they will look awesome on some Resistance Base terrain! Even some tanks, APCs or technicals (like the Ranger with the minigun in the future war scene of T2).  I think will be easier to make a Huey, I'm thinking in the Helicopter of The X-Com Files, it just has two levels and deployment tilesets to the sides.

First attempt is almost correct.... except you should be using index 239 for black, not index 0.

Second attempt is completely wrong.
Oh, I understand. That's the reason of the weird colors.

How to change the index? Or the number? I didn't notice it. I'll keep using IrfanView for this, it's very confortable.

I have the crazy idea of making the model of the Canadair Dynavert to use it in the Battlescape (I have not read much about it, but I think they are MCEs or something like that  ???), bulletdesigner is very good at making them, like the V-22. I also thought to make some other helicopters (like a UH-1 Huey, a Mi-24 Hind or a CH-53 Super Stallion), but I would like to collaborate with this model for the mod. :)

Honestly I have no idea how to start or what I need, I hope you have some information out there that I can study.  ;D
