Hello,

small bug when transporting crew with the new devastator. I carried 6 hands, one mutated reaper and an advisor to a crash site. One hand wasn' t onboard, the last one in the crew selection row for the devastator under vessels.

The next mission i flew without the advisor. Now the lost hand was onboard.

Hello,

i want to share some ideas for this great mod i recently had. Maybe these things are possible with this game engine.

Mounts:

Dinosaurs, megaspiders or bikes for example (as an item in your backpack or a 2-handed weapon). It lowers the costs for walking and sprinting and you can jump 1-2 squares (on some maps you cannot reach the enemy without flying because of rivers) and you have an extra attack (bite, machine guns etc.)

Create missions:

You dont really construct them but you are using resources (money or interogate prisoners) to get the information about special missions (plunder missions, warehouse wars etc.). After the manufacturing process they will spawn at the world map.

New vodoo spells:

- Summoning creatures (demons, monsters) for a few rounds (they take dmg every turn or simply vanish some time later).

- Werewolf/zombie/monster transformation via wands or potions (or new ammunition for the harpoon gun) for a few rounds. You are acting like a berserker and automatically attack nearby persons (melee attack but with increased strenght). Usable on self or on enemys.

- Project a mirror image of yourself or just a ghost (range 10-15 squares). The image cannot act, is immune to all dmg and vanishes after 2 rounds but can be used to distract the enemy. High level enemys or creatures with magical sight will not be fooled.

Improved weather mechanic:

I find it disturbing that i receive weather dmg even in my ship. As i said, i don't know whats possible with the game engine but how about placing an invisible item in your ship that buffs (cold/heat dmg 0%) every creature within its radius (radius=ship size). Maybe like a grenade exploding every turn (without visible effects but placing the buff like the burning effect). That buff expires at the end of the round. Next turn, if you are in your ship and within range of this "grenade" you receive that buff again before weather dmg starts. When leaving your ship, the buff vanishes at the end of your round and you suffer normal dmg.

Thanks folks! I shot it down, its hard and you need luck but with 7 teslas, 7 avalanches, 1 Implosionlauncher and 1 plasma spitter i made it (4 Sabres). The fight against the star gods with anihilator armor and power maces is no problem thanks to the high psi-defence bonus of the armor.

ok, here is my save game. 4 sabres already engaged the silver tower ship, another sabre follows and the dragon is also in close range. I tested it several times, the dragon can join the fight because the silver tower flys with low speed.

Even with luck (1 dragon as tank and 3 sabres) i could not destroy their shields.

When the silver tower ships were first introduced, i normaly shot them down with 4 sabres with avalanches and lasers.

I think something went wrong with the silver tower shields regeneration rate.

I tested it with 3 sabres each with 2 teslas and 2 avalanche missiles and 1 dragon with 2 plasma beams and 2 fusion ball launchers. I fired the missiles after i reached tesla range so that the tesla cannons could weaken the shields before the missiles hit. Even after hits with fusion balls i could not destroy their shields.

We need new weapons!!! :)

I thought that avalanche missiles do 600 dmg also against shields. So 8 of them do 2400-4800 dmg. The shipinformation shows that silver towers have 2800 shieldstrength and 9 points of shield regeneration and 2100 health (4900 total ). Even without tesla cannons the avalanche missiles should easily destroy their shields but they dont. Has the shield dmg of avalanche missiles been reduced?

Hello,

i tried to shoot down a silver tower with 4 sabres each equipped with 2 avalanch launcher and 2 lasers. Even after depleting whole amunition their shields are still up. My dragon is to slow to catch them so i cannot use fusion or plasma beam weapons. What can i do?
