Tried creating ED-209 ... not quite the quality I wanted lol

It's great to be honest, but a pixel artist should work on it for details.. Can't your pixel guy help which made the xenomorph drone?

I am creating new tanks if you follow my sprite thread, like 2 palette one and TFTD tank.. maybe you want to use them at your tanks too..

You got great assets collection, for air things i will probably get help from them!

There is HWP sprite patterns and they are hardcoded.. i know it.. but i got 3 question..

1. How can i choose the pattern of which HWP i use?

2. How can i make a  new hovertank? What should i do to make the game use hovertank images rather then first tank one..

3. If i make a soldier type HWP, how can i code it's visuals changing by weapons they got. For example i got a sectoid and i give it a plasma weapon at inventory, then how will its sprites change to with plasma weapon version..

Hey bullet!

I tried your V22 but my HWP's can't go out.. they stop just at the entrance of the plane, just before the rift..

And is there a possibility, to make it with more capacity? Can i do it with coding or mapmaking needed? thx..

And i got some ideas about other helos, i send you PM.. thx!

Btw i got the chinook from Xenonauts.. maybe you can make something from it! It would be very nice as a heavy carry capacity helicopter! and another transporter..

We need much more cooler organisation then Men In Black.. XCom soldiers should be cool looking when they miss..

Anyway, probably i will have another organisation then XCom, XCool maybe.. because there is no point even you win, if you are not cool anyway...

And I created the default uniform too..

If every thing go according plan it will be possible in OXCE 4.0, right now I think I will implementing this using new scripts.

Hi,

I did just take a look at your ballistic weapon sprites.
And have some questions, since there are 4 types of pistols, and as it seems 3 types of rifles.
Whats their purpose?
And i also see 3 ammo types, normal, probabely alien alloy and unknown.

Would you mind to enlighten me?

The sprites look really nice and I am currently searching for some for a custom faction.

Those are small, normal, magnum and mashine pistols, uzi, mp5, pdw, shotgun, rifle, sniper and goes on. It's your choice which ones to use.

Bullets are purple as alien alloy and yellow as elenium. Of course again you can do whatever you name them. I just try to give as much option as I can.

The spider one looks cool and different.. I can give it a shot..

I created another tank from that shadows mod.. Worked on it.. some color and pixel editing to correct the sprites i did not like.. the result was fine..

And I worked on the spider one just for one sprite to see how it goes.. not so good as i wanted but it could be added as a cool big alien.

I will be out of country for a while.. my internet will be limited for 1 month..

Sidequests, can you send me "5" frames from those spider gifs to put them into sectopod template..

Try downloading "War of Shadows" mod, by jackstraw2323. It has several interesting mechanoids.

I checked that mod.. it's robots are already at Falkoos tools. They are just... mecha.. and as shading they are not well fitting.. anyway but i found a nice tank! I will probably work on that tank!

As mechanic 2x2's.. sectopod is already cool.. we can have one more.. maybe.. if we can find somewhere to put it in.. sadly the work space is limited for HWP as their image.. I will give robocop robot a chance... it's the best one because its really created to be that size at first place.. not a mech, not a mecha.. just a big robot..

I will see what i can do..

I got the model, but at rendering there was a problem so i need to reanimate it.. not so big problem if someone can use it..

Loving these Drages!

I think after the next commission il look at getting the sprite artist to do an ED209 :)

OMG ED209!!! the most cool robot human created at that size! I made it for Xenonauts but never added.

Btw i worked on default tanks and their coloring... i don't know why but i want to make everything black.. maybe i can make MIB game as the X-Com one of the enemies.. hmm a different concept but i can't shoot to xcom.. so nop :P..

I want to make more little turrets but bigger guns as they are heavy weapon platforms but then we will lose the "turning turret" thing because the turret won't be at the middle anymore..

Hey fellas..

I finished 3 different Sectopod types by default and black colors. Because, one is never enough..

- Default Sectopod with balck/blue colors.
- Rocketer Sectopod, default and black
- Heavy Cannon Sectopod, default and black
- Missile-Heavy Cannon WTF Sectopod default and black.

Rar file got all versions ready with photoshop file who wants to edit further.

Were you thinking of a snake type? Or a flyer version?

I've been thinking about a face hugger unit that acts as infector unit like a chrysallid.

Flyer alien would be not well.. i don't lke flying things :P.. your alien is mix of a warrior and drone.. we could have a smaller one maybe, a little bigger then a dog, on 4 legs..

I got a face hugger. It's easy to make a unit from this images..
