One suggestion I have is to only talk about UI and mechanics when they are relevant to what you are doing. For example, I don't think it was worth trying to explain the empty Transfers screen. It isn't particularly interesting when nothing is there; and viewers will probably forget what you said about it by the time you actually want to use it.

I guess different people like to see different things in a LP video; but I'd personally prefer when players get into the action quickly, and play essentially how they normally would - explaining things as they come up. If there are some interesting bits of game mechanics or UI, there will be plenty of opportunity to talk about it when it is time to use them.

If you're looking for soldier names, I choose Lydia Bennett. Make her a melee attacker (if you intend to use melee). She's a very forward person, and somewhat reckless. (But don't get her killed! :p )

Episode 2 is already recorded and will likely follow tomorrow. I'll try to get one or two more episodes recorded tomorrow and I will likely release them soon. All that encoding stuff sadly takes a while.

Feedback is very welcome. If you want a gal or have other wishes, please post them on youtube if possible, that way it will be neat and tidy in one place. Contacting me through the email on my website is always an option though..

I do not play by strict rules but I concur with your rules 1) and 3).
There are no items AFAIK that could have negative effects if used improperly but there should be.
Doing stuff just for the sake of increasing some stat is very cheesy. It can happen to a degree, give a gal a certain weapon to increase reactions or whatever, and that's fine. Doing something for the sole purpose of increasing stats however is just the stupid version of editing the save file.

It makes sense. I had the idea to do something along those lines. Enemy ships could fly under a false flag, turning on lights to look like local government ships, something like that. I guess that should be possible. Such ideas need to be fleshed out though.

I think the fire is a bit odd, especially with the thick black outline. Not having access to the flame I have created a new one. Use it if you like it.

Guys, I've just played two warehouse wars missions and all of the enemies were zombies.  Is it supposed to be so? This is my first experience with Piratez.
Also, can someone explain me the purpose of Workers? Are they supposed to work in the workshop? How can I unlock this building?

I have had some zombie infested warehouses, but in my experience this happens only with a fraction of the warehouse wars missions. Most feature regular weak traders guild guys (and maybe a hostess).

AFAIK workers are pretty much the same as slaves, except that you have to pay them. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Both create negative space.
Yep, that's really weird and unintuitive.
Workers/slaves means you can cram more items in your storage space than you could without them.

I am a bit confused as to who dropped on whom.

I know there is such a  mechanic in the game, but I guess it is very rarely used. It happened to me once in XCOM with OXCE+ 3.3 that en enemy dropped on one of my soldiers, knocking him aside and unconscious. No crash though, so it my be cat girl or XPiratez related somehow.

The country where slaughter is fine, but nudity is not,
except for TV, where nudity is fine but nipples are not,
except for porn, which is fine, as long as it is only indecent and not obscene.
The country where children can watch the slaughter in SAW as long as the actors don't slip nipples while being slaughtered.

Assuming you mean the attached picture, I can put your mind at ease.
It is not a black hole. It is gray.
In case you meant to say butt hole when your keyboard got stuck I can put you to rest as well, those are just four pixels of color 1c1c20 arranged in a square pattern.
In case you have never seen one I can assure you that a butt hole looks quite different.

Difficulty also increases ufo firing rate and alien stats.  Also, the lowest difficulty cuts all enemies armor by half.  See this article for more information.

Thanks. It's a bit odd that there is no 'default' or 'normal' difficulty level with everything at 100 %. I guess the closest thing is "Experienced".

I'll likely use that for my first LP then. Starting soon-ish. I also wonder whether I should wait for the next X-Piratez version and use OXCE+ 3.5.
