Is any way in this mod to stop fire on burning people before they will die?
I waited 3 rounds and all I could do was walk around and watch like my soldier dying after being accidentally shot by a friendfire with incendiary ammunition. I returned him to the Skyranger and he died there burning after 3 rounds.  :'(

edit: dying soldier has 38 heath points, quite high value

edit2: It's probably not the fault of the mod, but the game's permanent mechanisms that sometimes soldiers die after being set on fire and sometimes they don't. Sorry for bringing this up.

It is the `game's permanent mechanisms`.

A i read descriptions  it looks like best mod for me.
I try to play with this mod Avesome guns + Nationalities expanded mod + Skyhawk Super Music mod +mods recommended by you: Lukes Expanded Terror Mission + Solar's New UFOs.
To complete happiness, I would also add something that would increase the capacity of warehouses in the base and a larger pool of maps in the field.
Unfortunately, mods such as terrainpack will definitely be incompatible here.
I think I will start playing with what I put together and it will last me for a few years. Thank you.  :)

You are welcome, thank you.

Thank you, yergnoor, I will take a look.

I confirm that this version of the mod runs fine on OXCE 7.9 at the standard mod error checking level (oxceModValidationLevel: 2), even without using Meridian's compatibility patch.
Although there are a number of warnings in the log, they are apparently not dangerous enough to prevent starting.

Image Resources/Bayraktar? Are you sure that it is AwesomeGuns mod? never added something like `Bayraktar` :-)

Hello, thank you very much for the mod, I'm very pleased with it. Can you add night vision devices?

Night vision? Have no really understand how it can be used. Night vision for each combatant as equipment or night vision for whole screen? Did you see these devices in other mods?

6
I got the mod from this link, does it point to the alpha version?
If so, is there a correct link to the mod with the fixes?

Can you try this link:
https://github.com/CanadianBeaver/AwesomeGuns/releases/tag/2.1

7
That link points to 2.0-alpha from May 24th 2020.

There is no link to the mod with fixes yet...

If you know how to fix it, please feel free to create a pull request on github.

8
I have recently changed the domain name on my github pages. If you have added AwwsomeGuns website to your favorites please update it.

Just for your information, the AwesomeGuns url is permanent and does not related to the domain:
http://canadianbeaver.github.io/AwesomeGuns/

In my options.cfg file I had the ignoring of most mod errors enabled (oxceModValidationLevel: 1). This allows mods with errors to run, but does not protect against crashes during the game.

Now put the standard level of verification mods (oxceModValidationLevel: 2) and OXCE with Awesome Guns on refused to start.

Unfortunately I don't know exactly how OXCE works and what needs to be done to fix the mods.

Can you try please on OpenXcom if it works, not OXCE, thank you.

10
So it works with warnings or it does not work? Unfortunately, I completely forgot how to deal with modification in OpenXcom. If somebody knows how to fix the issue, please let me know what I should fix or you, probably, can create a pull request on github.

You can apply this patch:

Code: [Select]
items:
  - type: STR_ARMORED_VEST_CORPSE
    battleType: 11
  - type: STR_HEAVY_CORPSE_ARMOR
    battleType: 11
  - type: STR_LIGHT_CORPSE_SUIT
    battleType: 11
  - type: STR_LIGHT_CORPSE_ARMOR
    battleType: 11
  - type: STR_LIGHT_VEST_CORPSE
    battleType: 11
  - type: STR_POWER_CORPSE_SUIT
    battleType: 11

Also attached a zip to this post packaged as a mod.

Added `battleType: 11` to these suits: https://github.com/CanadianBeaver/AwesomeGuns/compare/2.0...master

It would be great if somebody can check the currently AwesomeGuns mod on latest OpenXcom: https://github.com/CanadianBeaver/AwesomeGuns/releases/tag/2.0

12
Awesome Guns works with latest OpenXcom versions (@Warboy1982 implemented fixes)

How I see, the problem is in Armored Vest Corpse definition. Somebody knows if recently this configuration settings has been changed in OpenXcom game?

13
I briefly checked the latest changes and it should be compatible with current version of OpenXcom:

https://github.com/CanadianBeaver/AwesomeGuns/releases/tag/2.0-alpha

14
Just tested out the latest version on the modsite v2.0alpha and it crashes on startup. I was using the latest openxcom extended v5.61 and had no other mods on nor any of the preinstalled mods activated. Unfortunately, I have no save available as the game never starts-see attached

Looks like you did not install OpenXcom correctly or removed necessary files after installation. Please, check the following folder and copy there all files from installation .zip: ../openxcom/standard/xcom1/Resources/UI/

For playing the original Awesome Guns modification, you could download the OpenXcom 1.0 from web.archive:

or via direct links:
