All the weapons I first checked that used straight melee said they were melee (fistycuffs, saber, etc.), though looking again I do see that hammer and pickaxe don't say skill and I'm pretty sure they do use melee.  Sorry for the oversight.

 Actual accuracy is skill * weapon accuracy.  If skill is unlisted, I believe that means it is just their straight firing accuracy.

Edit:  Their skill is straight firing accuracy, that is.

Something I do is restrict which enemies I enslave.  That includes faction commanders and leaders, enemies from a pogrom, and Those Jerks (Humanists and Beastmasters with Chryssalids).

Which aircraft can use the plasma beam?  I just built some but my Tormentor and Firestorm can't use it.

I've noticed a few problems with the UFOpedia.  The entries for 'X-COM Summary Report #3,' 'Sectopod Construction,' and 'UFO Construction' get re-marked as new when I restart the game after closing it.  I remember Piratez having a similar problem a few updates ago.  Worse is that attempting to view the 'Hybrid Storage Facility' entry causes a crash.

None of my soldiers died, so it wasn't from a dead body.  And like I said, when I knocked out one of my other personal armor soldiers it caused a second damaged armor to appear on the loot screen.

I'm aware they're a workshop project.  I assume it's the same idea as data disks in piratez.  But when I go to my manufacture screen, I don't see any project related to data slates.  I was asking if there was another research I had to complete before I could start decrypting.

Did you terminate EXALT after getting interceptors?  I recall that after you beat one of the human factions you get a promotion that also unlocks MiGs (and then interceptors).  Also missions are generated on a monthly basis, so outposts won't stop until the end of the month or so.

In a recent mission I noticed I was getting damaged personal armor from nowhere.  It seems my unconscious soldier in personal armor counts for the drop.  I tested it by knocking one of my other personal armor troops (near the skymarshall) unconscious and I got a second damaged armor.

The Data Slates say they need to be decrypted in the workshop, but I don't see an option for that.  Is an there a 'Alien Encryption' research of some sort?

I killed a new enemy during a base defense and the corpse was called STR_REPTOID_DRAKE_CORPSE.  I didn't get an entry for researching it.

Edit: A live werecat is also showing an STR name.

You must also be at Promotion II, or you won't get clearance for the Light Cannon.

Back on page 43 you told me I needed Heavy Cannon research to get full cannon access.  I still haven't found any by October 1999, though I've gotten a few Assault cannons.  Are you sure Heavy cannons are on the MiB equipment list?

I can choose to equip the underwater variant of stormtrooper armor.  I assume it's the same issue as the alt-jumpsuits.  The underwater variant also gets past the armor check at the EXALT HQ.
