Ahh...the humble Handle.  I'm in year 3 of my campaign and it's still a staple of my loadouts.  The Zapper is a great stunning tool, but the parts to make it are in short supply.  The Dart Pistol has great tranq shots, but only 4 of them.  The Stun Baton never seems to perform as well as I'd hope.  Which leaves the Handle as king.  No ammo limitations.  No material limitations.  And effective enough to beat someone wearing power armor unconscious.

Besides, there's just something fun about early church raids armed with nothing but these little beating sticks.  I like to think I keep capturing and releasing the same set of civilians and they never learn their lesson.

I would have happily healed the Rep for them so they could avoid letting her die on their watch.  Unfortunately a dude in power armor and a tank decided it was a better idea to stand over her body and prevent me from saving their poor, unconscious boss.

I went looking for a Heavy Freighter over the weekend.  I needed the flight plan.  I built ships.  I built Avalanches.  I took it down with little difficulty.  And then I landed.  I thought my collection of mini nukes would be a good idea for clearing the ground.  And then the first enemy I see is the Guild rep, already bleeding from an engine explosion.  Suddenly I had to have a gal start tossing heavy lasers and more standard arms to everyone around the Pachyderm so my precious plans weren't lost in a sea of nuclear fire.  I finally managed to get the tanks whittled down and the power armor guards dropped and make my way inside.  Almost everything was panicking after the Rep bled out.  I thought it was just a cleanup job at that point.  And then the last tank descends from a higher floor and kills a previously injured girl in one shot.  I manage to destroy it with some desperate heavy laser fire and a well placed grenade.  The rest of the crew surrendered and I walked away with my precious flight plans.  And many destroyed tank husks.

If I have a research topic assigned at more than one base, do the research hours combine or is each base trying to research the full topic independently?

The Letter Prefix lets you know the unlock route for the bounties.  You have to build and research the A1 bounty to unlock building the A2 bounty.  A2 will then unlock A3 and B1 will unlock B2.

Most other prisoners are let go after their 'friendly chat' so I figured she would be the same.  I guess she's OK with hanging around and chatting until she gets 'transformed' into cake.

The Magical Girl research topic doesn't remove the prisoner after research.  I was able to research all the topics from researching the same captive over and over.

All of these new features look awesome and I can't wait for the next release of X-PirateZ to try it out.  Thanks so much for all the hard work you put in!

I looked at the ruleset and the ammo types have slightly different properties to them.  Here are the stats for Battle Rifle ammo:

Standard:

    power: 36
    damageType: 1
    damageAlter:
      ArmorEffectiveness: 0.85
      ToStun: 0.5
    clipSize: 20

AP:

    power: 36
    damageType: 1
    damageAlter:
      ArmorEffectiveness: 0.7
      ToHealth: 0.9
    clipSize: 15

PS:

    power: 42
    damageType: 1
    damageAlter:
      ArmorEffectiveness: 0.85
      ToStun: 0.5
    clipSize: 20

The ArmorEffectiveness seems pretty easy to understand, but I'm not sure about the ToStun and ToHealth options.  I think it means that standard ammo ignores 15% of armor but the target only takes half as much stun damage as they normally would and the AP ammo ignores 30% of armor but the target only takes 90% of the normal health damage.  The PS ammo works like standard ammo, but has a higher power.  I'd appreciate someone confirming what the ToStun and ToHealth options do though.

I've been looking everywhere and I can't figure out why the animal skinning manufacturing items all start with 'B:'.  I get why slavery has different variants starting with 'S' and disassembly items start with 'D-A:'.  Any ideas from all of you?

Some Examples:
"B: Werewolf (2/6/7)"
"B: Vampire Bat (2/2/2)"

Does the Overcharged Radar have some special ability beyond the expanded radar range?  From the description, it sounds like it should be able to make some enemy ships crash but I don't see anything like that in the UI.

I'm currently in an archaeological dig bounty (rank c) for the bank faction and I seem to be missing something.  I found one enemy out in the open and killed it, but now I'm wandering the rest of the map for 20 turns and haven't found any other enemies.  I can't seem to explore most of the second floor or a large corner of the map.  Are there supposed to be enemies trapped in inaccessible portions of this map?

Is there a way to destroy those Ratmen search parties?  I tried attacking one once but just ended up wasting a few hundred cannon rounds and doing no damage.
