Question about reaction. The situation is as follows: my soldiers have 120 action points, 200 reactions, the enemy has the same number of action points and 70 reactions. The enemy leaves the UFO under 12 barrels, passes 10 cells and throws a grenade and no one reacts to him. Everyone has a line of fire. There was a suspicion of overflow characteristics. Is there a maximum for a reaction? Is there any limit to the difference in reactions characteristics?

With the latest update, the Base Facilities parameters stopped working: sightRange, sightChance. Version 7.9.8.0. The closest version in which the parameters work is 7.7.3.

Those who love vanilla, they will not activate this. In other cases, this restriction looks illogical for a long time.

Ничего не стандартного не планируется. Наоборот, модификация, с тропы добавления всего подряд, свернула на тропу соответствия оригинальным играм.

Но вы можете использовать любой контент из модификации или даже сделать свою, на основе TFTU. Ничего против не имею.

Только пока не знаю как это использовать. В последнее время я много лишнего удалил из игры, например киборгов-солдат, часть кораблей, бронетехники, брони, некоторые виды пехоты. При том упорядочив производство, исследования и улучшив баланс. И тут вопрос - далее обновлять текущую публичную версию, или сделать публичной новую оптимизированную версию?

As for the multiplier for the difficulty level - it is doubtfully useful. But the cost of research in money would be useful. This is where a multiplier for the difficulty level would come in handy.

I really wish there was a mod that would integrate TFTD without adding a bunch of extra gameplay changes. Literally just "Play the TFTD campaign after the UFO one with minimal changes", or even better "USOs attack at random, do both campaigns at the same time"

All these extra unnecessary features are unneeded bloat and should instead be separate mods.

Well, that's a separate modification. Due to the availability of resources from both UFO and TFTD in one place, you yourself can collect what you want based on this modification. I have nothing against it.

An interesting topic, but would just like to increase the radius of the motion detector. At least up to 12-14. But in any case, this will be a separate mldification, since the author will have to completely redraw the plugin and the entire code of the scanner from beginning to end. As an option to OXCE this is doubtful, but OXCE could have made available features for such a modification.

I mean, they search for a base only as a part of retaliation mission, and then… just forget about it and this does not affect their other operations?

Maybe I didn't understand the question, but the base-generated mission determines the alien race of the mission. This is exactly what doesn't work with "objective: 6" because if "raceWeights" is not set in "alienMissions" or in "missionScripts" then there will be an error.

In general, this mission does not work with bases, that is, with the "operationType: 1" function. It generates normally in a region with an alien base and an X-COM base. But it is also generated in other regions with X-COM bases. In this case, in the absence of the "raceWeights" list, an error occurs. In short, "objective: 6" doesn't work with "operationType: 1". But it works great as a regular monthly mission. Moreover, in this format, a random X-COM base falls under attack, even those that were not detected by aliens.
