A TFTD stream means TFTD will soon be consumable by the public...

edit: TFTD sorta works on the Android port now, with certain issues:

-Crashes when Deep Ones attack

-Crashes when a USO is detected

-Crashes on the interior Artefact Site level

-In the New Battle screen, I can load SWS ammo into the craft

-Crashes when I try to assault an Escort USO

-All the other OTFTD issues apply

-This:
Much as I love airlocks, that's overdoing it  :P

I'm using FMP 1.5-ish, is there much risk of detonation here?  :P

Yes, this is a post where I'll be GabeN'ing.

Life got in the way here, or there'd be an update by now. I don't know how much longer it'll be a problem. The life or death of the LP is directly tied to mine, mind you. So I highly doubt you won't eventually see Cydonia.

But by the time you do, we'll already have TFTD.

It's a mathematical certainty.

Will OpenTFTD implement changes from TFTDExtender?
As in, will gauss coelcanths be usable?

Coelacanth/Gauss was gimped by a programming oversight. Since most of TFTD was hasty reskins, the ammo handling wasn't properly implemented. The way OXC works, I doubt that glitch is even possible anymore  ;D

It's finicky about music. Try downloading a new soundtrack; if it's just the MIDI version, it's not gonna see it in my experience.

Moar content means moar wait time, but I'll do my best to prevent The Update Where Things Happen from becoming the TFTD Duke Nukem Forever of LPs  :P

mainly because im way too lazy to find an image hosting site so I can put the screenies in the post body

BEGIN RECORDING.
Making this quick. A UFO just touched down in some farmland. The troops are on their way now.
END RECORDING.

I can split each mission into several posts, allowing for a lot more screenshots, paired with soldier dialogue, or I can only post screenshots of significant occurrences, with the mission itself summed up by Frost's commentary. Which one's preferable?

You can turn it back on as one of the standard mods, and it won't affect base defence, just loading craft   :)

(yay a full crew :3)
BEGIN RECORDING.
January 5th, 1999. We detected our first UFO this morning, right at the edge of our radar range, but the damn thing bugged out before the Interceptor got near it.

Meridian's flamethrower finally came in, but now he keeps it with him around the base and nobody will go near him. *sigh* In other news, I ordered some armoured vests that just came in, and I issued a notice saying that the soldiers who want one can have one, as long as they're aware of how restrictive and heavy those things are.

Beyond that we're waiting for the first ground op. Could be any minute now.

Hm.

Maybe I should order a HWP. I'll ask the troops to vote on it. Minigun, rocket or cannon?

END RECORDING

BEGIN RECORDING.
January 2nd, 1999. One of our operatives, a certain Mr. Meridian, has repeatedly bugged the armourer, Boris, demanding that an incendiary option be made available.

Meridian, we ordered this just for you. (See Attachment 4)

Not much else going on. I set our staff of exactly ten scientists to work on developing some new firearms.

Other than that, a quiet day.

END RECORDING
