Work In Progress / Re: Flamethrower ideas
« on: February 20, 2015, 08:36:17 pm »
I could probably find some flamethrower sounds somewhere in the internet, of course CC0, if you prefer. It's going to take some time to find some. If I can't find one, I'll probably rip them from a game, but I prefer using a CC0 licensed sound.

in aliendeployment you have
      noRetreat:        true/false
      finalDestination: true/false
      finalMission:     true/false
i found that in the source and put it in the modtester so here my untested guesses
the no retreat option should be what you looking for
final destination is what "cydonia button" flies to
and final mission is a mission that after finishing delivers win/loose screens

So, would that mean that I could have 3 different crafts going to different maps instead of cydonia?

I was thinking something like this:
Code: [Select]
         Craft #1                        Craft #2                      Craft #3
Milestone Mission #1 > Research >  Milestone Mission #2 > Research > Final Mission

Suggestions / Several Suggestions
« on: February 03, 2015, 01:41:44 am »
Hi, I'm new here, but I have been lurking here for a while. Anyways, I want to suggest several features.

1. Change spacecraft in the ruleset to some other name to allow to go to special maps that are defined. Like:
Code: [Select]
specialmap: cydonia
Code: [Select]
specialmap: tleth
Something close to that effect. I don't remember the map names too well.

2. Allow waypoint in the items section to define a max number for waypoints that the player can use. -1 could be use for unlimited waypoints, 0 means that you can't use waypoints(or false), and a number greater than 1 means that they have a limit of waypoints to place down.

I'll think of more suggestions later. Basically, I want to know if those two are possible.
