I think you may be using some other version of English. This mod works with en-US and en-GB.

I'm using English US.

No, you're not supposed to research the same alien multiple times.

I don't know what's going on with the nightly right now... Can anyone else confirm it's happening?

Okay, strange then. Before the Reptoid leader I had a MiB medic that I also could research a couple of times until he finally disappeared.

22
Okay, thanks!

Just wondering though. Does it mean researched items have to coded by the modder to be removed after researched?

23
Just wondering what happened to that option? I'm using the latest nightly and I can't find it anywhere?

I captured a reptilian officer and for some reason the game lets me research him more than once. With more than once I mean maybe 10+ times. If this intentional or is it bugged somehow? I know there was a setting in OpenXcom that the game deletes the researched thing, but I can't find it anymore.

I'm using the latest nightly build and the latest FMP.

Great mod btw. Love it!

Thanks OpenXcom team!

Me and my best bud at the time rented the game for Playstation. Never played anything like it back then, and we were completely amazed by it. Bought the game later on for Pc when I got my first computer. Think it was 4 diskettes for TFTD, but it was only the cd-rom version that had the intro in motion :)
The manuals was also great back then. I don't think the first game came with anything special though, but both TFTD and Apocalypse had some great extra lore-books.

Still such a great and unique game. All three of them actually.

mods will still work regardless of when they were created (as long as they worked with the nightly version before this latest change).  All that has changed is that they go in a different spot on your hard drive.  They can now also have a metadata file that will show information about the mod in the openxcom ui, but it's completely optional.

Okay, I understand. Thanks!

I'm not sure I understand 100%, but when you download 1.0 now the catalogs and such is changed from the version I have installed right now? And all the mods up still works for the old version of the game, but not the new?

Offtopic / Battle Brothers (EA released)
« on: April 27, 2015, 11:33:20 pm »
Hey all.

Just want to say that Battle Brothers has been released as Early Access on steam:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/365360/

It's a cross between X-com and Jagged Alliance 2. I have been playing it myself a couple of months now (got sent early code) and it's a really good game so far. It might
be a bit light on content, but many features are planned. You can check it all out on the Steam page. The reason I'm posting this is not for advertisement, since I have no stake in this game. It's just to spread the word since it's a niche game and need all the help it can get!

That is all I guess :)

Edit:

Here is a screen from my campaign:
