If you don't mind, can you or ohartenstein23 point me to where in the rule files it says that? The rule for the ninja seeker does not list it as a possible drop. Also I started a new game on 99J6b and the mission isn't listed in the possible missions in the save. Shouldn't it be there or will it only appear after two years?

I never looked at the rules or saves before but I'm in year 4 and been playing for a while after the upgrade and never seen a prismatic shield or ninja ship yet. Since it's blocking the forcefields research now I wanted to make sure it's not a bug. For now I took my save back to 99J4.
Had two Ninja Seekers spawns in J6, second one had Prismatic shield, and 1st was blown to pieces.
Also make sure you attack them with low damage rapid fire weapons, like looted Gauss.

Just as a off thought - anyone have any requests for new armours?
Like, totally new armours?
One Pirate Queen armor per Codex might be cool - like Synthmuscled Battlemage for Gray, Armored Melee Loader for Red, Caped Golden Harbringer for Gold, no idea whats for Green.
Variations of existing ones could also be neat, like Camouflaged Synthmuscle Suit, Helmeted Defender, or Reinforced Space Suit.  May be some Ninja Rags stripped from Ninja Gals.

May be tone down smoke from Battlelaser? Weapon meant for power-armored soldiers just screws them over, since power armors do not have thermovisors.
And Fatty could probably set up smoke cover by itself.
Overall not a huge fan of adding smoke to all lasers.

You can hold CTRL when sorting, which will just display the attribute and manual sorting arrows without changing the sorting automatically.
Thank you, thats exactly what I was looking for.

Now I wish there was an universal hotkey, like "?", that will bring up a specific "Hotkey List" for currently selected interface screen (be it Base, Craft, Ufopedia etc), which would then list all the applicable shortcuts for that specific screen. But thats too much busywork I guess.

Can we please have "by Armour" sorting in craft Crew menu, with armor text string being displayed next to unit name?
Alternatively allow to move people up/down the unit order in craft Armor menu, even when filtered by "Original Order".

I have to sort people in Armor menu before every sortie, just for "up/down" buttons to appear. And that sorting, no matter the filter, messes up the unit order, and I have to rearrange it back every single time, to make sure every unit spawns in appropriate place (power armour up front, snipers next to a hatch etc).

You cant, just make use of that opportunity and the base itself.

edit: whoops, sorry, apparenty there is a new code for mission interruption. Can someone spill out all the specifics, or provide a discussion link for whatever it does?

@Rince:
As I already told, the tech tree is no help in getting to know, how to get the reticulan files. I`m still missing it.
Tap "Q" on Geoscape, then tap "Q" again, type in "reticulan", and look for "Reticulan Files [m]" in there.

Any advice on dealing with Ghost Gals from Mysterious Island?
Apparently Mind damage melts them, but I brought nothing but the couple of Ghost Daggers, and those spectres just fly out of my reach.
Forgot to grab my anti-Charm gear as well.

Each chem pellet permanently removes some armour, right? So, up to 16 Chem procs per Auto? Looks like Sawed-Off is actually a pretty solid choice for side arm all the way through the game.
Still, Id rather go with a basic one, just because of the speed and weight.

Anyone ever uses Super Sawed-Off? Its almost twice as heavy as default one, ammo eats up just as many slots, is slower to fire, and is behind Cougar SMG in research.
With new shotgun accuracy shotguns became actually playable, and Sawed-off was my go-to for quickdraw slot early on. Yet the upgraded one comes way too late, and doesnt offer much.

A question about the reticulan files. How do I get them? The tech tree doesn`t give me a clue about this.
Its right there it Tech Viewer, "Reticulan Files [m]". All the Files (Humanist, Goverment, Reticulan etc) are made from Personal Databases, then can be researched.
