The X-Com Files / How does one Fight the Flying Avatar Lady?

When she is on the ground I just hit her with close combat weapons until she dies or goes down to ZZZ. However, when she is flying I do not really know what to do. My primitive guns do not seem to hurt her. What do I do?

I have been playing x-files for some time now and I am very impressed with storyline and presentation. It is really great and atmospheric. A lot of effort was put into this and it shows! However, there is imho unnecessary difficulty all over the place (e.g., too many manors turning the world into MiG alley and when you try to take out the manors there are enemy reinforcements spawning right next to your peeps killing them without any chance to react). Balancing seems off, because at the same time you get missions where you fight 1 (one) zombie. The only way to win this game seems to rush certain techs and huge amounts of grinding. This makes it very hard for the more casual gamer to enjoy the story and explore the game world.

Also, I wonder what is up with the Glock 18 - aimed shots do not seem to have a higher acc as compared to snap shots.

Had some situations where this was relevant.

When it comes to mind control has any one of the Master's Cane or the VooDoo Rod an advantage? It seems the VooDoo Rod consumes less time units, but does stun damage. Are there any differences concerning the success chances of the mind control attack?

yeah the ninja base radar range is huge, and can be quite the pickle.

This works both ways. It makes the ninja bases easy to locate.

Is there a way to preset the behavior in air combat? I would like the Kraken to tank and the Brave Whaler to hang back. But I am too slow give the orders in time.

Another point is that even when choose Guys, you still can find quite a number Gals on missions.

It should not be possible to take these turrets "alive" by any means, they have capturable: false flag.

Nevertheless, found the same problem with the Battle Tank in Sitzkrieg.

Might be intentional, but there was a Tough Girl in a Govt Cutter where I would have expected a Govt Pilot.
