When you fight in air combat with Hunter Killer, the 'careful stance' button does not allow you to keep distance, even if your craft is faster and your weapons outrange the Hunter Killer. Not sure if this qualifies as 'bug', but it looks not-okay to me.

The issues is when if some HWP ammo is disabled and some is not (therefore HWP itself is enabled because SOME ammo works). It still keeps the disabled ammo in case it was loaded.

Screen attached. At every difficulty level on which the unit should spawn with +HP bonus for difficulty, it spawns with basic unmodified HP pool instead (suffering ofc loss of accuracies). It affects any and all enemy units. I'm not sure when it happened, but 7.8 was free of the error.

If HWP is allowed on mission, but the kind of ammo it was loaded with is not, the ammo stays in the gun and on the mission. This might be a case for all fixed weapons - didn't test.

After upgrading from 7.8 to 7.9, vapor trails started to display wrong colors in XPZ. Eg. flamethrower is now blue with a tint of yellow, instead of full yellow. What happened? How to fix it? Can it be fixed mod-side?

I'm unsure if it is intended or a mistake in the code, is the Revolution HQ supposed to change from a prison for humanoids to a beast den type prison when damaged?

Not a bug, but an incosistency. The new manual promotion system (if on) makes the requirement of Princess od War to be of a Princess rank irrelevant.

Suggestion is to rework the pay increase into the condemnation itself, and just have the description "However, she considers herself a Princess and demands to be paid accordingly". This will allow her to be any rank, but still be a major hit to your finances.

Another solution would be for to these options set as fixed: Manual promotions on, disallow demotions(not sure if possible), disallow automatic promotions. So you can manually select who gets promoted in an RPG-ish way, but it's a permanent decision (barring any... "unforseen accidents" ;) )

I hope this manual promotion system can be disabled permanently in mod settings. It's not meant to be used in XPZ, I didn't ask for this option, and I don't like it a tiny bit.

EDIT: and I just did. It does not fit with my vision of XPZ; I don't want it to be a game with total and absolute control of player over their soldiers and other agents which have their own will (like govts).

I believe this will open a completely new tactical option; weapons which are meant to not puppetteer enemies, but turn them relatively docile (by changing faction to civilian in case of Mind Control). On the upside, such 'confusing' weapons can be much stronger/faster/cheaper to use than their Mind Control (change to own faction) counterparts.

Example: Herder's Staff in XPZ. My idea for it was to be a pacifying weapon, but I went for MC since it was the closest approximation. Now if it could change enemies into temporary civilians I could give it more attacks per turn, and this gives a fresh dimension to psionic combat: mass confusion instead of direct puppeteering.

As for zombify I don't have any concrete plans yet, but it certainly could offer access to zombifying weapons to player - a new dimension as well.

If I want to make a story about postapoc post alien invasion post alien leaving world with hot mutant super babes as a separate nation, what is plagiarism and what is "inspired by" would it be for you. In case you stumble upon such game at Steam or other such places?

Kato stole my setting and title of the mod for his commercial book, used all the basic lore but changed whatever he wanted, not ashamed at all. It might be ethically questionable to many people, of course, and for a good reason, but personally, privately, I don't mind. Art must flow, and I don't feel threatened at all by such plagiarism. I'm unique enough to treat it as advertisement.

Short story is, your idea is nowhere near as brazen. Just be sure to credit.

This new system with TWO buttons on event screen completely ruins the way I prepared all the event background pictures with ONE button in mind. Can we fix this somehow?

Maybe the items can be displayed after clicking OKAY, without that second button? (Besides I think that the lack of standard 'items delivered' screen (the one you always see due to transfers/buying) is confusing).

The cold damage mechanic doesn't seem to be working properly. My soldiers are suffering health damage even though their cold resistance is below 200%, but low enough resistance does protect them.

The damage formulas for cold have been changed a few versions ago (more hp damage, less energy damage; which also means hp damage happens at higher resistances). This has been in changelong. As far as I know, the 200% value known to veterans of old version does not appear in any place of the game as official information. If it does, please point it out, and I will correct it.
