Well, what about Cyborgs? Once a xcom unit is deceased, one could use it like a base to a new type of unit, once you know alien sugeon, and more alien stuff technology. This could make more about moral, will you make it, as alien do? Also, why only we need to focus on alien technology?, what about trying to discover and improve earth technology in order to not use any alien stuff? (if players choose to) Hehe also i think something like civilization, when the year you are makes more easy to discover an advancement. That could work in a long campaing starting for example since roswell incident, so your starting team begins with WW2 weapons...

Well, you get negative point for Aliens shooting (killing) humans, so...

Anyway i think, the best way to give you more points or lesser, is how fast you did the mission and how much ammo you wasted.

Yeah sure. Im now playing the game at my own pace, after that i will rechek the Spanish Spain translation (i saw some mistakes also on latam translation, surely my fiancee will help me with that)

And what about the music? Maybe Just pick a random track from every geoscapex file found. So if you add 10 tracks for geoscape, will pick it one them. Also, true for combat, dogfight, etc.

Also, could be nice later, some events can have they proper music (for example when a dogfight agains a really huge UFO, you discover something important, etc)

did you make your own ruleset file, instead of editing Xcom1Ruleset.rul file? Also tried if a new game takes effect?

Now its pretty easy, you need to create you own ruleset file with the change you want. Then, go to options.cfg file (you can find it on, if using win7 C:\Users\<username>\Documents\OpenXcom , and add it and the end of document, after the Xcom1Ruleset. For example:

rulesets:
  - Xcom1Ruleset
  - Mycoolmod

Always your mod should be after Xcom1Ruleset
