Work In Progress / Modification after new GIT ?

So I made few modification in RuleSet file but very often nightly builds appears overwriting my work. How to update to newest GIT keeping my removed Ruleset values?
I know that I can add new ruleset values and start it in options.cfg but what about strings  that was removed? It cames back with new GIT

Hi,
I would like to introduce my new project 8) It wil be done today evening - I hope.

Changes:
------------
- Medikit available without researching
- New fighter HURRICANE available after researching Alien Alloys (better acc, speed than INTERCEPTOR but still worst than FIRESTORM)
- Plasma Pistol available  after Researching Laser Pistol + old requirements
- Plasma Rifle available  after Researching Laser Rifle + old requirements
- Heavy Plasma available after Researching Heavy Laser + capturing live alien :) - like in the new XCOM + old requirements
- Power Suit available after researching Muton Corpse + old requirements
- Flying Suit available after researching Floater Corpse + old requirements
- Hovertank available after researching Cyberdisk Corpse + old requirements
- Unable to produce Alien Alloys
- Unable to produce plasma clip and blaster bomb - you need to recover from Aliens :)
- Blaster bomb power decreased
- Personal Armour and Power Suit armour increased
- New Sniper Laser Rifle

Is there any tutorial how to add new things using ruleset? Especially I would like to edit research tree. For example medikit without researching. Appreciate for any help :-)

Right now we have: Reflex, Accuracy and Weigh. It will be a good idea to put AP instead of Reflex for example.

Suggestions / Research tree improvements

I dont how hard is modding research tree but I have few ideas.
Stun rod, Plasma Pistol..even Plasma Rifle - anybody use it? I like the way how it works in new XCOM. First at all we need to invite laser wespons, then capture the alien to be able to research Plasma weapons. Its extending the overall game. Right now everybody are waiting for best weapon - Heavy Plasma. We dont need to waste time on laser weapons or plasma gun and rifle coz heavy plasma appear really quick.
in overall;
- lets make requariments for plasma guns:
1 laser weapons
2 live alien
3 plasma gun
4 plasma rifle
5 !! Heavy plasma!!:-)

Suggestions / Hole in UFO using Blaster Launcher

I noticed that in OpenXcom we unable to makes holes in UFOs. Is it a bug or intentional action? I like the idea to enter from the roof to the UFO and surprised aliens:-)

I just wonder is it possible tomod this ugly smoke. On PSX version was a nice smoke - of course its different colour pallette. Any ideas?
