You can get captive maidens from demonic sacrifices missions, which you learn about after researching the shadow lamp which is gotten from roaming bogeymen.

I think you need to be lucky for a roaming bogeymen. They don't happen allot and when they do it's a small change you don't blow them up.

Speaking of rare items, anyone knows where Captive Maiden can be found, and what triggers Scented Message 2?

I got the Captive Maiden because I have the Mystery Patron unlocked. Can't remember where I got here.

For the casino tokens you need to build a casino to be able to redeem them.

I don't get the city raid missions either. Maybe to capture allot of enemies?

What difficulty you play on? Easiest one has significant amount of content cut.

It's strange you got that far without getting Scented Message. Investigate the link and search "Bloom" there. Then research all available related subjects, one of them will surely trigger it (but you won't know until it happens). I think it's related to Lokk'Naar stuff probably.

No, I don't have the easiest difficulty.
I haven't unlocked Underground missions. Could that be it?

I've already researched quite a bit. I'm a few researches away of unlocking Higher studies. Maybe it's something in the magic area? Haven't done that much yet.

How to read the resistance for items in the Bootypedia?
For example:
RF: Chem 75/50; Choke 75/100.
RF: Mind 80/0.
The first one is the resistance, but what is the second number?

I always wondered. Is the additional damage calculated for the armor rating? E.g. enemy with armor of 50. Weapon has 40 dmg, but pwr * 0.5 STR. Will it hit through the armor?

Started with this mod after finishing TWoTS and I have to say: Dioxine this mod is AMAZING!

I love the challenge of a long game (I read 400+ hours somewhere), the numerous research topics and the very diverse missions. From bounty hunting, to cleaning out rats of someone cellar :D
Every time I see a new faction / enemy I'm excited. I see research topics about underwater sea missions, going undercover to infiltrate some factions and some talk about even space missions! I even managed to get a research topic about Micronoids (those aliens from XCOM Apocalypse. Are we even going to other dimensions?  :o )

Everything is still new to me, but I'm having a blast  ;D

I also love the fact that you can use weapons if you haven't researched them yet.

I'm eager to find out the plot of this game!

Some missions I don't get even after reading the briefing, but I make the most of it. (Had to stop some human mage from reaching his ship? Ending up stunning him and killing all other enemies on the map. Nothing happened so I went to the exit-tiles that were in a tower and I could 'escape' with the loot that I brought with me)

I also like that some enemies are there that are still out of your league. (Ships that shoot you out of the sky in a few hits. Osiron enemies with heavy armor. Though I was able to kill some with grenades, primitive guns didn't hurt them obviously  ;D)

I see you've been working on this mod since 2015 if I'm correct? Keep up the good work!

I do notice a strange bug with the MC Battlearmor
At the beginning of the turn I see: MC shield: 120
But after each turn it keeps going down. In the Ufopedia it says it regenerates 4 per turn. It kinda looks like it's doing the reverse.

I figured out how to get the Bio-drone corpse by watching Meridian's let's play videos.
I waited for a base attack from Lobsterman and got 1 Bio-drone. You have to incapacitate it and then proceed to kill it. This is the only way it doesn't explode.

I do notice that terror events have become very rare, which are usually the source for new technology.
I've had 2 in 1 year.
In the first one I was able to capture a Deep One. In the second I was able to capture a Bio Drone (though I did not get any corpses).

The chance you get the right species with a battleship to get these is also very rare of course.

I've also encountered only 1 Jellyman ship so far. Maybe they'll start to appear more later.

But failure to capture a live specimen during terror missions seems to lead to a dead end.
