There one can see how streched everthing is, ui, graphics etc.

Besides that, the globe was never round in the original on classic monitors.
Like NashGold has written, too. "In fact, characters now have proper proportions."


OpenXcom is an asolutly beautiful Projekt, one of my all time fav games.
I hope 4:3 like in dosbox can be added in the future.

It seems to me that the reason as to why they appear different is due to the mission's light level. The one on dosbox seems to be running on a semi- night mission compared to the OXC screenshots

I've seen a couple posts about this, but I'm starting a new topic to get it up there again.

Is there a way to get melee weapons to target not-people so I can Kool-Aid man through buildings to stab mutons in the face? I'm running the final mod pack and it is great but not being able to target terrain with melee attacks has repeatedly come up in missions.

It is possible, but it won't be called melee anymore. Since only projectile based weapons are allowed to free aim, there is a simple modding hack for melee weapons to be able to aim freely, but it will make them ranged in the process. By giving the melee weapon a weapon range of 1 tile, it will act as a gun and will be able to fire freely anywhere, but as I have said, it will fire projectiles and it will fire off more than a single tile, hence why I have said earlier it will be transformed into a pseudo gun. I have noticed that my Guardsman managed to transform her Bolter into a Hammer. Looks like a wrong handob sprite

I think you clicked copy or save text as. Try "Save as" or  "save link as". Its something like this.

Try going to browser, right-click and select "save link as".

It doens't download if you just click in tapatalk or browser. I have no idea why. Its weird.

Tried that as well, didn't work for me. It just copied the word "Download" and that's about it

Current download link to the android version of OXC is not working. Tested with multiple devices and still nothing. Just pointing that out btw

Wow, the mod has improved A lot than I remember. I gotta keep up with all of these somehow, and hopefully I can assist with some bug hunts. Anyways, always keep up the good work efrenespartano!
