Troubleshooting / [OSX] Conversion mods won't work (.ogg sound effect error)

So I have been getting an odd error message whenever I've been trying to run OpenXcom with any bigger mods: https://i.imgur.com/hfEtv2C.png
The error seems to pop up whenever a mod uses .ogg sound effects, so far it's happened with Final Mod Pack and Area 51.
I run OS X 10.11.6 and have installed all the dependencies as per this guide: https://bitbucket.org/grrussel/openxcomosx, and while I think of myself as relatively tech savvy I haven't been able to google my way to a solution.
And yes, the mods are in the correct location as I've installed multiple other mods all of which have worked fine.
Hope there's someone in here with the knowledge to help me!
