Work In Progress / bagirov's colored armors
« on: July 25, 2013, 05:50:17 am »
Hello friends!

Can anybody share with me the complete version of Bagirov's colored armors? That would be the armors for EU.

The only version I can find is that one hosted on Strategy Core, but it is missing the bigobs and floorobs.

Does anybody have the complete version with bigobs, floorobs, inventory images?

Thanks! :)

Work In Progress / Re: is modding reaction mechanics possible?

Thank you for your replies.

That would be a nice addition, 54x. Please do that. :)

So, Phezzan. It is nice to know it's easy. The problem is I don't know how to mod outside the rulesets. :(
Assuming this coding is not to be done in the rulesets, but somewhere else.

Where and how is it done? Do you think if you can direct me, I would be able to do it?

I would rather not ask you to do it for me because I might want to do other changes in the future, right...

Work In Progress / is modding reaction mechanics possible?
« on: July 22, 2013, 10:32:10 pm »
Hello modders

I would like to change the way reaction triggers as to disable multiple reaction shots per single action. So I would want units to react only once if they spot a unit and run another reaction check at every additional movement or action from the spotted unit.

Possible?

Current version makes units shoot more than once if they have TUs to do so.

Thanks! :)

Suggestions / reaction fire mechanics
« on: July 02, 2013, 03:22:39 am »
Hello friends.

Is it possible for you guys to make a ruleset that allows for editing the mechanics for reaction fire? The Openxcom mechanics that make units turn to react, react only when hit and react multiple times at once seem unrealistic to me and I would like to be able to take that back. I would like reactions to trigger at any action that costs TUs, like inventory managing. I'm no programmer so I can't do that myself. I just think being able to edit all aspects in reaction fire is a very nice addition.

What do you think?
