Troubleshooting / Re: Data Patching

That already was made. Thing is... you cannot "patch in memory" 37 mb of ogg music.

So the only reason the data patch zip is needed is to fix the music? What's wrong with the music?

What if OpenXcom automatically patched the files only in memory? That way you wouldn't have to include any data files patched or otherwise.

Should I add that as a feature request on the bug tracker?

I never noticed the "data patch" (https://openxcom.org/index.php/downloads-extras/) until now. Should it still be used with OpenXcom? Why isn't it in a more prominent place or part of the main OpenXcom build?

But if you wanted to know you can just do the calculations yourself, 320x200 is the base resolution.

That's what I already did. Thanks for the input!

Troubleshooting / Line of Sight vs. Fire

Not sure if I should put this on the bug tracker or not, so I'm asking here first. Shouldn't I always be able to take a shot at an alien my soldier has line of sight on? If I have a little "[1]" indicator, then I shouldn't  be getting a no-line-of-fire message, right? Well, sometimes I do! I just experienced it in the latest git (openxcom_git_master_2013_05_16_2346).

Thanks for the input!

Maybe the game could have an indicator marking which resolutions are x2, x3, etc. multiples of the games native resolution? This would be helpful for selecting larger resolutions and maintaining the games native aspect ratio.

I apologize if this is asked all the time (I couldn't find it), but what remains to be done with OpenXcom as of v0.9? Thanks!
