OXCE Bugs / Bows interrupt movement

(I am sure it is the case, anyway)
Sometimes an enemy tries to reaction fire with an arcing weapon, but can't find trajectory and doesn't fire as a result. This interrupts your soldier movement, which feels strange and gives a kind of advantage to the player.
A save is attached. It is probably a rare case in vanilla, but a regular one on some maps in Piratez or Chronicles.
I could have a look myself, but intuition says that the fix will probably require changing signature of several methods, which wold better be handled by OpenXcom authors.

REQUIRES NIGHTLY OpenXcom, get here:

A tiny mod made for personal use, cause the sheer number of bolter/lasgun patterns (often with same pictures) makes it hard to compare guns.
Post your opinion, whether you find it useful.

Should work for vanilla and other mods, in metadata.yml change "master: 40k" to "master: xcom1" or whatever you need. Though I personally never felt this need in other mods :-)
Only EN-US and RU are currently supported. Can be easily extended, if there is need.

Can weapon ranges (auto/snap/aimed) be extracted into pedia article?

Also could you please direct me to documentation on paedia templates in general? Or which files in mods contain examples?
