Open Feedback / Lose the game due nations ceasing funding

Guys, I've been trying to look for an answer to this question for a time now, but I've never found one. It is possible to lose the game if all funding nations gets infiltrated and leaves the project? and if so, is this condition to lose affected by difficulty (Like, the amount of nations that has to leave to give you a game over screen)? I already know that by the time, 1 or 2 countries leave, you can already go to Cydonia, but I still want to know. Thanks.
