Suggestions / Not enough equipment to fully re-equip squad

 "Not enough equipment to fully re-equip squad" has to be the most useless notification in the game

The game should tell us which equipment is out of stock.

I have bad memory and I do not play Xcom everyday. I always forget there are items under transferring between bases. There are also items/staffs being purchased/employed (but not yet delivered/arrive).

As a result, I  purchase/ employ excess items/staffs.

So, I suggest to add a page in the game showing the item/staff under transfer between bases. Besides, newly purchased item and staff employed but not yet deliver can also be shown in this page.

Suggestions / Alien's fatal wound

Is there anything the alien can do (something than waiting to die) when getting  fatal wound?

Will there be any first-aid treatment of the Alien's side? 8)

When all remaining equipment fit in the 1st ground page, there will not be enough ground space for storing  the newly unequipped equipment (just like the below picture).




I cannot move the 2nd ground page for placing the weapon even using the next page button of ground. This is very inconvenient.

The game behaviors of original xcom and openxcom is the same.

I think this is not a bug and so I post it in this suggestion section. I think the game should let player to put equipment to the 2nd ground page even if the page is blank.

The source is from from Lord Victor Albert Sebastian Delacroix, the Dark Lord of the Glyphs, Unreal Engine Archivist and Historian.

Built 220 has only three maps (unknown at the time whether the ones from previous build will work or not), but is on a later Unreal build, 220 as opposed to 219. Consider it an alpha. Here:

Suggestions / Cloud Saving

As there will be different version of OpenXcom,  I think "cloud saving" i.e. using space from Gmail account will be very useful. I this way I can play the game at home from my PC and outside using my Symbian/Android Phone.

Hi,

Here are my suggestions:

1) can set up inventory alert level for base management or even order items such as clips when the quantity of the item below alarm level
2) can pre-assign the position of my solider in the Interceptor. I do not want my commander to be the first person coming out of the plane :)
3) aliens have the ability to pick up and equip weapon or item in battle.
4) more mission types or special events (e.g. protect Area 51, mission to save  Chief scientist, etc). these special events may be unlocked under some conditions e.g.happen in a particular day, after destroying the first alien base, etc.)
