Replaces the Heavy Cannon with the RT-20 Anti-materiel Rifle. The RT-20 is a single shot weapon that needs to be reloaded after every shot. Very slow, but extremely accurate.

Replaces the Auto Cannon with the QLB-06/QLZ-87B Grenade Launcher. The QLB-06 is an indirect fire weapon with an auto fire mode. Magazine size is reduced to 6 rounds just like the real life QLB-06.

Troubleshooting / HE bug

Hi. I've ran into some unexplainable bug. All of a sudden, all HE weapons are only causing a tiny 1 square explosion. I thought maybe a mod was causing this problem, so I turned them all off, but the problem still persist. What the heck could be causing that?

Suggestions / Toss grenades around corners.

How cool would it be if grenades could be tossed around a corner or an entry way without exposing your soldier to enemy fire? If it's possible to mod, the max throwing distance should be really short when throwing around a corner. A mod like this would make grenades useful even if you have a grenade launcher mod installed.

The Croatian RT-20 "Hand Cannon" is a bullpup, 20mm anti-material rifle. The tube mounted above the barrel redirects propellent gas backwards to counteract the recoil, similar to that of a recoilless rifle. The RT-20 is a bolt action, single shot weapon that needs to be reloaded after every shot. It's heavy and cumbersome, but highly accurate and packs a powerful punch.

Help / OpenXcom supports only 8bit images.

Hi everybody,
I created a resprite mod for the heavy cannon. When I start the game, I get this error message: "OpenXcom supports only 8bit images". All I did was download some sprites I found on this forum, and edited them with Paint. What can I do to make it work? I attached my mod to this message incase someone wants to take a look at it. Thank you all in advance.

Always felt incendiary were pretty useless, so I created this mod. Incendiary ammo now deals twice as much damage. It sounds like a lot, but incendiary only dealt 5-10 damage in vanilla. Getting hit by incendiary also causes a massive morale lost, which means being hit by it has a very high chance of causing panic or berserk. I don't know about you, but if I were caught on fire, I know I would panic or go berserk. (Needs Openxcom Extended to use)

This is my very first mod. Replaces the Small Rockets with HEAT Rockets. HEAT Rockets are armed with an armor piercing, shaped charge warhead. With its ability to pierce the inner walls of UFOs, and its small blast radius, this an excellent weapon for use inside of UFOs.

Help / Where are the ruleset?

Hello. I'm trying to learn to mod, and my first attempt will be to modify the stats of the small rockets. However, for the life of me, I can not find the ruleset file for the small rockets, or any ruleset files. I did a search and it said they are in the data folder, but that folder does not exist. I am playing the steam version with openxcom extended. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

Hi everybody,
Is there a mod that gives incendiary rounds more direct hit damage? Kind of silly taking a rocket in the face doesn't cause massive damage on impact. Another thing that would make it more realistic is getting caught on fire should cause panic.

Hi, everybody.

I've been playing with the XCOM Terrain Pack, and my game crashed and this error message popped up:

OpenXcom has crashed: Alien Deployment
STR_TERROR_MISSION_OUTPOST not found

How do I edit my save file to stop that terror mission from happening?
