Maybe not actually.  2019 is eons ago with this game, and I believe an update a while back broke all save games from before that.

You can try them, but you might just have to start a new game.

2019 old saves work great actually. just missing some new RnD. I try to start a new game but after few weeks of hard work and life is still not good in XPR. My old saves are few months of work. Still good.

It still works. I can confirm that it works. I think the design of armours also changed for the newer ones so that they use basic materials.
nice. I just load up my 2019 old saves with these. life is better now. lol

Car parts can indeed be bought in bulk once the required technologies have been researched.

Just found out it can indeed. but the RnD process is so random. I have to SnL MANY times to get all of the techs. lol.

Hey. I've got pretty bad vision, so when I saw the walls of text this question was basically my first one, too. Since then, this is what I've discovered. ....... I just haven't bothered, since only having to worry about event texts is JUST enough eyestrain for me to handle.

lol. Thanks for your walls of text too. lol. I will try what you did. Will let you know how it work out. I also learning chatai now for few months already. Maybe I will find some adaptation of them ai to these great game too. Maybe lol.

Love Xp guys. TY so much for such a fun n pain mod.

I would love to see in Xp that a new features that allow us to send spies to our enemy base or lab to steal armors. Or bootleg some flying enemy armors to use as our own. I need some good armors sooner guys. Such a pain to RnD for good armors.

AFAIK car parts are recovered from destroying armored cars only; adding more common sources would be nice, though   ::)

lol. I am so ashame to say that I keep SnL untill I get what I want. lol. Not gonna let "see where it leads you" get into my speedy percision RnD. lol.


With that in mind, the consensus for early-midgame research priorities is as follow:
-Unlock any new missions you can handle. The sooner you can get bounty hunting and monster hunting, the better, as these give good payoffs and are usually doable with six gals. This is particularly true when your interception capabilities are nonexistant and generated missions are your only opportunity for booty unless you luck into a landed small ship next door.

-The pirate culture and its cornerstones a high priority, particularly Violence because it leads to bounty hunts, and because it leads to the tiny drill, which offers huge benefits as soon as the unlocking event is complete. It's slightly delayed now, but gold and red give massive signup packages, not to mention access to shadowcraft.

-In general, as soon as you can afford it, increase the number of brainers. There is a lot of ground to cover, and assigning extra brains to the task is the best way to make gains.

-Contact: Krazy Hanna gives you access to machines guns and more importantly, high explosives and RPGs. Though costly, the ability to delete a large swath of enemies with a bang is valuable both as a panic button if you find 5+ enemies camping outside your craft and for dealing with trespassers invading your hideouts. Not to mention that RPG HEAT warheads are your first reliable ranged option to deal with heavily armored targets.

Great advices. Almost finish the old Prz few year ago. But seeing there are so many new things that I just start a whole new game and whole new pain n fun. Done most what you said. Now focus on Krazy and Gun Emporium now. Long way to go until i get my precious "Personal Shields" like xcoma.

if you're going to play O.G. enemy unknown, you should at least try a terror mission. ideally a snakeman terror mission at nighttime to get the proper experience. you need to squadwipe at least once.

I'm pretty sure Car Parts can be recovered from various ground UFOs like couriers, humvees and armored car patrols.

adding them to the Stranded Govt. Agent missions (ie Car Wreck + 2x Govt Agent) would make sense, as would giving Car Parts alongside the Male Path -> Trucks research like the Wrench is currently. adding Car Parts to other terrain spawns such as tractors and garages would make them too common imo.

ok. guess we have to think of those tractors are too damage to use as car parts then.
