For now i've updated the general UI as well as adding the research tab to complete researches faster.
This will give you a boost, i will also check if there is more i can do reading rulests.
It will likely be something i will add in the future but I don't have a release date in mind as I'm very busy with my work and personal life in these months

Uhm I think it could be a bit dangerous, in the sense it could possibly led to broken save files.
I should check the save file and see if it is something I can unlock from it, otherwise it is something
related to rulesets files, so apart from patching them before launching the game there isn't too much i can do...

I will try to find some time to add a couple of updates related to base building and mission clearing quick win (i.e. win by stun all instead of killing, with max exp enabled and maybe random kills fo runits just to keep things interesting). What do you like to see about research topics? One thing i could add could be to make them instantly excellent to save you time. Is that what you'd like?

Have you tried with the newest version of .net? like this one? https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/sdk-5.0.408-windows-x64-installer

Check if it works for you with this redistributable. Keep in mind that my last check on it was on version N5, so i don't know if it is compatible with the latest update, it should be if no other races or base building are introduced

Thanks! How can I get it? through interrogation or something else? Usually there is so much to research that sometimes I miss the "next step", also I was never able to unlock synths how can you get them?

Hi guys! This is a new playthrough using the N5 update, strangely enough I am, apparently, to able to unlock standard decentcraft like shadowbat, worm, fortuna, and so on, It is a fresh play so no save porting. Could you help me find out what I'm missing, because it's the second year, I've got gnomes, nekomimis, orbital missions, and many bounties...seems a little strange.

Here is the savegame if someone can help me out. I'm also playtesting a mod I'm currently developing for an Oni race so maybe some ID conflict may be the culprit?

Hi Dioxine, first let me take this occasion to thank you for the mod, which is probably the best total conversion of a game that I ever played, so for now I was using plasma damage because was the first that came to my mind for representing Getter energy but maybe it would be too obvious, what do you think it would be best for something that work at particle levels from what you have now as damage types? Also caoul you kindly point me out where to find a reference for alternate skin/hair modification? Would like to add a little variation while adding a little more content (also because ultimately I would like to add variace as to have the default long green hair for Lum if I find out out to make a hero event, after some researches)  :D

Yes, I've got them in one of my save (are they given randomly?) but I wasn't sure for other VIPs, the ones in the HISTORY section of the Bootypedia  :), like for Example Jill, Ivana Banana, Saya, Zombia, Captain Jack, Purple bloom and so on. Are they in the game? If not I think that adding some more heroes would be nice for creating the ultimate team for latest missions, at least for me, since oldest xcom days I've always put a lot of effort in team development and keeping them alive, in fact I expecially like the fact that in XPirateZ you have a lot of race with a lot of customizations so you can truly make your party big and unique. Finding the two Puma girls, was a very pleasant event for me.

I dunno if it was already answered/existing/planned (if so I apologize), but getting more and more into the lore i'd like to add to roster the infamous VIPs sometimes you got to know from research, maybe like hero units as for the two gemini nekomimis :)

Hi everybody, just wanted to share a new Race I'm working on and which is based on Dioxine's awesome XpirateZ world. They are the Space Onis, inspired by 80's toon Urusei Yatsura (Lum or Lamù in italian). I think that the over the line style of the characters there fits well with the theme of XPiratez, and who knows maybe I'll be lucky enough to see them included in the game sometimes in the future :).

I'm still new to modding so I'm moving by little step and testing it while I'm playing a normal run in the Game. Graphic is still WIP but I'm pretty happy about how it is turning out.
Stats are a bit random now and I'll probably need some suggestions for tweaking them and make the mod balanced.

For now this is the content of the mod (tested on the latest June release of XPirateZ):

- Space Oni race obtainable after some research post first Nekomimi's encounter in the game (my idea is to have them as long-time rivals then allies against the Stellar Gods)
- Basic armor and Oni warrior armor (still need some finishing in the battlescape sprite)
- Some Ufopedia lore
- A set of 3 weapons based on Getter Energy (for now it's plasma type but I'd like to create a new energy type if possible)
   - pistol
   - rifle
   - cannon

Space Onis are very strong and suited for meelee combat, they can naturally fly (like in the serie), but have no psi power.

Hope to add new armor and weapons and then start working on recolours and hairstyle.

Here are some screenshots and the zip file containing the mod. hope for some suggestions and idea from you guys, thanks and have fun! :D

Thanks for the replay! For the flag I was talking about the one in the attachment, there is a symbol in XPiratez which represent a distinctive flag for a soldier race in the top right section of the soldier' stats screen. Also I've tried to make the new gun technology available after n projects, but it seem the dependencies conditon is in OR is there a way to say "complete ALL researches to unlock a new one"? This is the code I have at the moment (tried using requires but it disable cost value, so the research is available immediatly):
