How made the manufacture?
Only with elerium and alien alloys, or 1 Heavy plasma and 1 Blaster Launcher and few elerium with alien alloys (like a fusion)?
I think just adding the two weapons' material components together should work.
Based on vanilla: $212,000 for parts, 2,200 Engineer Hours, 2 Alien Alloy

Would you like to do a terrestrial version with rifle and either HC-HE (though in that case I assume there needs to exists a single round HC-HE clip)?

Lessons learned after the latest south african terror mission:
Snakemen can be handled with laser weapons
Chrysalids can NOT be handled with:
1, laser weapons
2, human grenades
3, HC-HE
4, large rockets

Research started on plasma rifles (most abundant weapon atm), meanwhile, team equipped with laser tank and single AC-HE. Plans to supplement Skyranger with hi-ex and HC/AC-AP if proven effective.

Hi everyone!

I'm Lance from Hungary, I develop software by day. I started playing Ufo Defense in middle school (20 years ago?) and have played on and off since then. I've installed OpenXcom when Enemy Unknown 2012 came out - because the demo crashed my laptop and needed a fix - and never looked back.

Some stats:
Ufo Defense games started: probably double digits
Ufo Defense games finished: 0
TFTD games started: 0
Apocalypse games started: 1-2
Apocalypse games won: 0

I'm very experienced in the early game :D My mid-game falls apart, thus never making it to Cydonia. Hopefully this current one will be different. :P

Hi everybody!

I couldn't find a mod that does this, but a saw that XPiratez uses custom rank insignia. Is there a mod/way to customize the rank graphics?

Playthroughs / Terror mission debriefing

Things I learned during my latest (third) terror mission (April 1 on veteran):

1, terror missions can happen at daytime
1 a, it's not much help
2, gas stations don't chain-react and explode all at once
3, despite a large portion of my troops carrying HE (rocket launcher, 2 heavy cannons and a rocket HWP)
3 a, captured a floater live
3 b, managed to miss to the point of one floater needing 5 heavy cannon shots to go down
3 c, didn't blow up a single civilian (in fact I saved 2) despite leveling a building on purpose
4, HWPs are fire-and-forget, as in they never survive a single mission
4 a, it managed to run out of rockets, so it did it's job
5, personal armor is nothing to write home about
6, I'm emotionally attached to my soldiers, despite not knowing most of their names (too many countries of origin)
