What do you think is the best starting location for its bonuses? I've found that romanica with its weapons and items to sell for cash is nice.

Also, are weed plantations better than regular plantations? I did the math, but I unless I did it wrong, it doesn't really seem worth the hassle.

I'm getting a segmentation fault crash relating to building a new base on the geoscape. In the attached save file, the game sometimes seg faults when pressing "Begone" next to "Choose a place for yer new hideout". It doesn't seem entirely consistent, but I have managed to get this crash three or four times testing it. When it happened, it war after clicking on a location to build a base (such as south america), canceling the pop up window, and then pressing the described button.

I've read a couple things about the difficulty levels in this mod, and I wanted to clarify something. I know that the mod is balanced around difficulty 3. Do increased difficulty levels increase the speed at which enemies tech up?

I've noticed that a couple of bootypedia articles have text that go off screen. Is there any way to view the rest of the text, either in game or by opening a text file?
Edit: More specifically, it was the battle flag article and the information expedition article.

I am on a temple raid mission on month 2, and roped an altar boy. When he went down, a ghost icon appeared over him, both above his body and in the inventory panel standing over him (Like the zzz's for sleeping, or the blood drop for fatal wounds). What does this mean?

The blue/red lights? Do you mean the smal pic, when you intercept a UFO and take a look of the ship?

Yes, that shows that that ship belongs to the government.

Along the same lines, where is the best place to get battle rifles? I know that military transport missions have them.

Hi. I'm fairly new to Piratez, and I was wondering about something.

In the vanilla game, the aliens progressively get stronger as time passes; e.g., the only aliens are sectoids in January, but in august, you have mutons and ethereals. My question is if Piratez does the same, as there isn't an invasion to progress as time passes (as far as I know). I know that a game using the Piratez mod is supposed to be very long, so I'm wondering if there is some sort of gradual progression.
