About old micro\home computers I'm very impressed that people are still creating new games for them, or new versions of games that weren't released on them in the old days.
People sometimes say that the days of that equipment are gone, when in fact, now a person can have any old computer or console with everything without any major difficulties.
If person can still enjoy it  ;D

In recent years, I have been quite involved in the topic of retro games, understood as games released for the NES, SNES, GBA and Sega Genesis consoles (PS1 or N64 consoles are of course also a retro topic, but often as individual sections).
I have always been very impressed by the ingenuity of their creators who had to make up for the lack of graphics (especially NES).
Do you like the simplicity of old games?

What do You think about ai generated art?
Is it more opportunity or threat?
This technology will make life easier for many people, but artists are often really affraid of it.
Another question is how would You call person that create those images-artist?
Do You have other idea for name?
In Polish language I use word "operator"-Im not sure if people would like it :)

Here is also elf (or maybe he looks more like halfling?) picture generated few days ago. I kinda like it so Ieven use it as avatar :)

There is something magic in Sega ports of old games, its unique in special way.
When I heared first seconds of Dune its bring to my head memory about Castlevania Bloodlines.
Its not even about theme-its more about Sega Mega Drive and Genesis sounds (but I spended most time playing Sonic games and Battletoads on those consoles).

Im ready for service.
Its funny becose I was checking really often here if Meridian is starting new lp cos I was missing watching Xcom lately, and it happen when I was super buisy and overworked so didnt even have time to read things on forum-things always will happen when You dnt ecspect them  ;)

Sure You could make autoshoot fire in one line but it would kill "dakka dakka" fun  ;)
We all know that Xcom operatives are recruited from most inaccurate people on Earth-I easy shoot targets way smaller than alien head (like empty ammo box)
from 50m with duble barell shootgun. Xcom soldiers often miss targets next to them... but of course You can always tell its battle fear that makes people "less optimal" :)
