XPiratez / Following the Doctor X path

I've started a fresh game and want to complete the Doctor X path.
I completed the first Doctor X research item.
Nothing else is appearing on that line for me to research.

Is there something I should not research to close this line?

Is there a particular mission I need to complete to get the next step on that research path?

Got a pop up error message when I attempt to board the x dimension drednaught.
I've attached screen shot and the log entry.

I've replaced the INV file with the original one to reset any changes. Reloaded from a non battlescape save.
Changed equipment to Laspistol on left hand and motion scanner in right hand.
Removed all other equipment.
Started final mission again.
Destroyed the gate, part 1 ends.
Goes to equipment screen and immediately fails to load part 2.
Nothing flagged in game log.
Attaching error log.

I think I've found a bug in the Eye of the Storm mission, part one. I've crushed the chaos scum and blown a few holes in the gate. If  I completely destroy the gate the level ends, I get a prepare for part 2 message

The equipment load out screen appears and if I start the mission the screen immediately goes blank and the game crashes.
No error message appears on screen.
I've attached the log file and the save from just before the level ends.

I'm on the first alien base assault.
I've managed to reach the location of the sectoid commander. If I stun or kill them I get an error message reporting that STR_PSI_SECTOID_CORPSE could not be found.
I can't find this file so thought this might be a good place to ask for help.

I've attached the screenshot of the error message, a save from just before I attack the Sectoid Commander and the OXCE log file from an android install.

I'm enjoying the mod but I do need to ask for some help with one of the missions.
I'm doing the infiltration of a floating island of mind worms. So far I've wandered around blasting pretty much anything that identifies as hostile.
I don't know what I need to do to complete this mission.
The only mention of this mission I can find is non this forum where someone mentions its pretty easy if you have disruptors.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask here.
What do I need to do, to complete this mission?
I've stomped everything I can find that identifies as hostile but the mission doesn't end.
So what do I need to do to finish it?

I've tried pulling all the nauts back to craft and taking off but it only marks the mission as a fail and unresolved.
