The beginning of a Hybrid path looks illogical to me. "Take Me To Your Dealer" give you Sectoweed which you already have(since it is a requirement for this tech). Maybe it would be more logical to move the Sectoweed tech requirement to "Life Is Hybrid" tech instead or change it to Sectoweed plantation if Sectoweed too simple as requirement.Sounds like an oversight due to spaghetti which is called research tree.

hey, first post here. Loving this mod, and have played it off and on for a few years now. Just got back again after a year or so hiatus.Build Mess Hall to research glamour itself.
Which leaves me to a question I gave up finding an answer for in the patch updates logs. Hoping you guys can answer. I used to rely heavily on getting a slave empire going but playing the latest version this entire strategy is buried behind needing to find the man with the golden suit in a mission, and interrogating him for the "Glamour". Him, being the only one seemingly that can unlock it. Is this intended as a nerf to the slavery "tactic", or have I just somehow corrupted my X-Piratez files to cause an tech tree issue here? Just recently started using the Brutal XCom files to change some AI behaviour, and figured that could be the reason for a corruption, but I haven't been able to find the answer on the interwebs otherwise just yet.

Additional bases are used to provide more facility space, while at the start of the game 1 base can have everything later on new facilities and larger facilities will mean that you won't be able to have everything you will need. They also can provide additional radar coverage, storage space, interceptor hangers, and teams to do missions. It's also not uncommon to specialise bases, you can fill a base out with just manufacturing facilities, of which there are a lot, money bases filled with plantations, storage bases with a lot of vaults ect...
As for when within a few months you should probably have a 2nd base up, I normally wait until I've maxed my brainers in the main base out and can build crew quarters and plantations before starting new bases.
It's a good idea to build new bases at the start of the month that way you have a guaranteed month at least to get them set up and defended before they'll get attacked.
