         A few hours ago we had detected a UFO. We sent out our X35 and our SR71, but the UFO out ran our detection range.



          So we sent out our SR71 to Iceland, and we found something... big.





          Two large UFOs had landed, each most likely 30x30 meters in diameter. "

XENONAUTS INITIATIVE - GENERAL BRIEFING:

              In the post of the Iceland incident, the Warsaw Pact and NATO formed a joint-operation named Xenonauts, which came in handy in 1979 when a full blown alien invasion took place. First there were reports of UFOs and Crop Circles, next Spectroscopy Reports, then cities being raided with multiple witnesses.



              The situation became hopeless as the nations of the world were out equipped and outnumbered by the alien invaders. Not to mention their technological superiority. Until an unknown fighter craft crashed a UFO into the Iranian border, NATO and the USSR activated the Xenonauts initiative. The campaign place over several grueling years and ended when Strike Team Bravo consisting of Col. [REDACTED], [REDACTED], Cpt. [REDACTED], [REDACTED], Col. [REDACTED], [REDACTED], Mjr. [REDACTED], [REDACTED], Col. [REDACTED], [REDACTED], and Col. [REDACTED], [REDACTED] assassinated the alien commander on the alien 'dreadnought'. A hyperspace jammer was put into place to stop any hyperspace travel within the system.



               Soon most of the alien technology became useless as it all required their power source. Alenium. Even thier alloys required depleted Alenium.



HEAVY WEAPON PLATFORMS:

               Heavy Weapons Platforms or HWPs utilize technology similar to the manned vehicles used in the Xenonauts War, except remote controlled from base with a few alien AI derived targeting systems. The chassis can be equipped with either a 114mm Cannon, 11.5mm Dual Minigun or a Rocket Launcher.
