When i did a research, i read something about hybrid base missions..? what are those and how do i unlock them..? im running the latest openxcom mod.

ok, so i tried all of the following you guys suggested (tried all map scalings, windowed/full screen, went through all resolutions, centering the image), but the only thing that worked, was to turn off the FMP and then start a new game. only then the map looked ok. and yes, starting a new game with FMP made the map as messy as in the save game. so, it must be something to do with the FMP then... but what, i have no clue. any other thoughts? i got curious on figuring this one out, but it seems to be rather difficult, i guess.

i did try to change it to those settings you suggested, but the map is still as messed up as in the photo i posted.. here are my settings (for mods, i only have FMP activated)..

anything here that makes the map messed up or?

i only have /common, /standard and /ufo folder.. where do i find this file where i can edit those values? i cannot find the "armors_FMP.rul" anywhere...

So... if there are no .nam files, it will just create some random names? because i tried to remove all other .nam files so i would get only GERMAN names (German.nam), but i still get a bunch of non-german names in my save game when i order new soldiers.. why is that?

Also, i have a /common .. which version do i have then? not the v1.0?

Regarding soldier names:

1: if i delete a .nam, will it crash an already existing save game?

2: if i apply new names to the files, will they be available on an already existing save game?

3: if i edit any names, i must edit it the respective SoldierNames in both /data and /common - correct?

4: if i add a new name, do i just add a new line or must i put it in alphabetical order? it doesnt matter?

An openxcom noob here, but can anyone advise me on how i can modify/adjust the stats of some of the enemies? Example; the tanks for MiB tolerates more than Cyberdisc, which IMO is just wrong. So, I would like to adjust its stats so Cyberdisc can take more damage than MiB tanks... any ideas on how i can do that?
