Suggestions / Custom Scaling Option

Think we could get a custom scaling option for Open Xcom?
Original resolution variations are fine but letterboxed. The ones mapped to Display 1/3, 1/2, and full are too small, although 1/3 is almost right for 1080p.
I'd really like a 1/4 display option for 1080p, but a better option may to have a Custom Scaling option in the geo and battle drop down menus that corresponds to a custom scale option using integer from the users config file. That way scaling is future proofed for 4k, 8k, and whatever else.
