Thanks for the help guys, I would point out Solaris, that I have not managed to get the portal to work,and I have not seen the obvious info to which you refer, tolerance please, we are not all IT experts.

I have got the version of open xcom1.0 that was downloaded 10.06.2016, the fmp version is 1.9.3, is the milestone new enough?

Also I have the ZIPed version in the openxcom folder, will this affect it, and can I just delete it? I do have other copies and did unzip the fmp to mods,

any ideas.

Troubleshooting / Mouse becomes erratic with FMP

When we enabled the start with advanced  weopons mod of FMP the mouse became really erratic,  slow and unresponsive, any ideas?

Released Mods / Re: [COMPILATION] Final Mod Pack (FMP)

Ive read the info on Final Mod pack and have seen Meridian's U tube games, I'm am just trying to confirm,

are alien fighter craft, the hybrids, the attack dogs, and recce robots, actually included in Final mod pack, as although they are part of Meridian's cool Final mod pack youtube campaigns they are not listed in the final mod pack literature on this site.

Other than the nighty which thanks to a reply from meridian, I have just installed, do I need any other actual mods, to get the above extras.

Guidance appreciated

Have  downloaded latest nighty   according to faq  I need  toCopy your X-COM: UFO Defense data to the UFO subfolder.

I assume I must copy the pen xcom data folder to a subfolder in the nighty called UFO, thing is, I can.t see a sub folder of that name, the nighty is dated 31.01.2016

Help would be appreciated

Open Feedback / mega pack

Hi All I have got open xcom 1.0  and  am looking to choose extras, but am confused and spoilt for choice,

 although I like whats on the mega pack, and have read about it, I am unclear, does it include the attack dog, hybrids , alien fighters, and xcom robots, if not how do  I get them?

Troubleshooting / Install from ufo EU from a CD for WIN 95

Hi all

Ive got WIN 8 and although it can see the folders on the CD I cannot run the disk to install it, clicked on INSTALL.exe said cant run this.

Do I create a directory, on the hard drive and manually copy the directories on over to it?

Any ideas as to where the new directory 'UFO' should be?
