Please explain more simply how this option works for the player and AI if the spotter\sniper logic is disabled in the modification?

No problem. It was necessary to tie the whole translation to the modification long ago. You just happen to have different translation options for different operating systems.

No, not in OXCE+. In the folders "\standard\xcom1-2". A strange translation with arbitrary abbreviations in the most unexpected places. On the one hand, you can not pay attention, on the other, it’s unusual.

Just 2 comments.
1. It says version 8.0.2. Did I miss something?
2. The Russian translation has differences with the win64 version. Not the OXCE+ lines, but in the folders "\standard\xcom1-2".

The modification is adapted to version OXCE 8.0.

It would be nice to be able to set "RandomType" for defense systems (and for ship weapons too), like for items.

And also to have a more accurate idea of damage in UFOpedia. Right now there is an average value without taking into account the damage spread.

1. I think increasing the stats above "statCaps" is a mistake.
2. The screenshots show that the soldiers shot at completely different numbers than what they received after the battle. In my opinion, they should have received what is shown on the first screenshot. I'm tired of this randomness. It seems to me that manual distribution of experience bonuses after the battle would be preferable to the current system. And in general - less randomness, more interest.

However, I simply ask to remove the randomness regarding the accuracy and reaction bonuses.

Honestly, with the new experience system I expected to never see a situation like the images below again. Not to mention the lack of "statCaps" support. When will these bugs finally be fixed?

As far as I remember, "damageRange" affects all damage in the game, but does it affect when defending a base from UFOs?
