I recommend you "ZD Soft Game Recorder" Works fine for me in games like Doom and UFO. The only requirement is that you have to be activated OpenGL mode in OpenXcom.
By the way. I use an older version of "zd soft game recorder" exactly version 2.0 2013-2014, because it uses less system resources. this is just a personal preference.

Hello all XCom Commanders! Im from Spain and fan of UFO EU since years, what a good news find OpenXCom and this community, is incredible for lovers of this game like me!. you made me relive my days as a UFO Enemy Unknown player, yesterday I starting a new game and WooW!! Nostalgia Heaven surrounds me, that was really exciting experience like the first time i play this game decades ago. See you around here, watching the Geoscape meanwhile.
