Open Feedback / Any changes for openxcom on appstore?

Hi all, firstly apologies if this is a ignorant question.
I used to play openxcom lot, mainly on my android phone, but when I switched to an ios phone I wasnt able to play anymore.
I cant remember the exact reason why it was not on the appstore. Could the loosening on appstore rules, to allow emulators such as delta and retroarch, mean there will be any change to openxcom on the appstore?
