OXCE Support / [Answered] Mark items as don't pick up from missions.
« on: February 10, 2025, 06:09:36 pm »
After completing a mission, all objects are taken to the base and stored in the general stores.

At some point of the game, you don't really care about certain objects and they just fill up storage space, so after a number of missions I have to go cleaning storage space because my soldiers took machetes, baseball bats, tonfas, tokarevs, lugers and other stuff I couldn't care less.

Would it be possible for each item to have a "don't pick up" checkbox, so those objects will not be picked up after each mission, of if they are picked up, they are automatically sold/discarted.

I feel it quite tedious to have to sell all those items every now and then, and I don;t want to build more storage facilities because the base has a limited number of sports that I'd rather use for more important buildings.

When a vehicle runs out of fuel it returns to base, with the only options being Ok, Ok-5sec

Sometimes the vehicle arrives at night time to a mission that you want ideally to do during daytime.
In this cases, I don't start the mission and I put the vehicle to patrol over the target mission, waiting for daytime to come.

However, it could happen that before daytime arrives the vehicle runs out of fuel and just goes back to the base.

It would be very useful if the vehicle alerts of low fuel a bit before, so when this happens you can still move a few miles and start the mission.

The X-Com Files / Indicate when a mission is about to timeout
« on: October 16, 2023, 06:30:55 pm »
I prefer doing missions during daytime, so if I arrive at night, I usually wait until daytime to start the mission.

Problem is, I don't know how much longer the mission will be available, so it happened to me to be waiting in patrol mode for daytime and suddenly the mission times out and disappears.

Would there be a way in the mission description to include until when it's available? Or even better, the mission marker to blink or change color when it's about to expire?

That way I can safely patrol next to it and if I cannot make it until daytime I force a night mission.
