Thanks for the replies, knowing the issue was on my side helped and after doing another more careful full re-install of the mod and OXCE I'm able to start the mission

I'm getting the following error when starting the mission Syndicate Assassination: OpenXcom has crashed: Map generator encountered an error: no xcom units could be placed on the map.

I was wondering if anyone had encountered this before or if it was an issue with my setup, I tried re-installing x-com files just in case I was missing a map but that did not help. I also saw that crash happen on an Exalt VIP mission but I'm not sure if they share the same map

Here is the crash log and a save with the mission on map and a ship going to that mission.

I don't think so, I was pretty far from the death holes and I think I should have been able to see the bomb fly from there during enemy turn

Potential spoil ahead?

I've been met with a new and unexpected threat when doing Red Dawn HQ after installing the new version of the mod. It seems that for some reason ennemies are able to throw explosives from the level below, I hear hear the throwing sound during enemy turn and my soldiers exploding. At first I thought those were land mines but it seems to stop when they lose vision on me (plus the throwing sounds shouldn't happen without reason).
Has anyone experienced this issue lately? Apologies if this was already posted, I did a quick research but couldn't find anything

Here are some screenshots, the place my soldiers died matches the vents below. I wanted to try throwing explosives from the vents to test but they surrendered before I completely forgot after cleaning up the vents

I've been having a chain on uneventful months and I was wondering If I had managed to block myself. I can see that i'm missing a default Ethereal but I haven't encountered any for a while. I did manage to capture a keeper from a base but I'm unable to research yet, shooting as many ships as I can hoping to get the right unit

Would anyone know if I'm waiting for a specific mission or if I need a bit of luck and hope a ship with Ethereal spawns (Attached is my current save)

I just updated to 1.5.1 and got a Croc Raid involving livestock. I'm not sure if this should be labelled as a bug but the weapon is not correctly aligned to the sprite and seems to be floating
