Is there a way to break it open to retrieve the artifact? I've tried dynamite and HE, but it seems indestructible. Is there no way to retrieve it without completely clearing the base of ninjas?

One thing I always thought was weird is that Nitro Express rifles apparently don't have much penetrative power. IRL elephant guns actually got used as anti-tank weapons in WW1.

Attack at night, use sniper rifles from maximum range (I like PSG1s, if your guys have high marksmanship skill you'll have +90% chance to hit even if you have 0 visibility on the target. PSG1s can damage vehicles too, it's best if you have a very skilled shooter hit them in the back or side). After you've thinned the enemies out, use explosives to crack the side of the building, hopefully exposing more targets for your snipers.

Bring at least one but preferably multiple dogs, and position them so that assassins will run into them first. Ideally, you can spot them with the dogs and your PSG1 guys can kill them with aimed shots. If one of your dogs gets taken out by throwing knives before the ninja is spotted, have the other dogs try to spot them, or if they're close to your shooters have one of them spot the ninja and blast them with a sawed-off shotgun.

Ever since the new countries were added in the most recent version, the end-of-month report gets cut off because there're too many countries. Has anyone else had this issue?

Desyncs previous to mod's activation will stay that way. Can't do anything about it!

I started a new game with the mod and recruited more people, and the names were still desynced. The mod adds new names, but it doesn't fix the desyncing issue.

Hi! I made a submod improving the quality and quantity of agent's names. I made an special version for the 2.5 release, it's a temporal fix for the "weird names"

It doesn't work as far as fixing the desyncs, unfortunately.

All the new recruits are desynced as well, it seems. Not that big of a deal.

Also, I noticed that the flag "space" between Vietnam and Afghanistan is blank. Does that have something to do with it being desynced?

I just installed the newest version, and for some reason I've been getting names that don't show up in the Agent Names list for their nationality, and some that have non-letter characters in them. For instance, one of my starting characters is a  Mexican guy named "Faysal Abdullah?" (his name has the question mark in it)
