Title: Soundtrack inspired by action movies of the past
Post by: misterx on January 22, 2020, 10:34:20 am
As the title says, some midi files inspired by action movies of the '80 adn '90 may be added? For instance i'd suggest  "fight for love" from commando (1985) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiDuOLTy_5w). Same maybe applied to xpiratez? Anyone has other ideas?

Robocop with police city defense, Terminator against cyborgs, Raiders of the lost ark in south american jungle ,  Dune against worms (can't remember their names), Jaws against charcarodon.

I don't know. It's just my personal opinion, but generally I don't like it when I recognize music (and other assets) from somewhere else. It just takes me out of the experience.

I forgot to say that I can't see a quadritube rocket launcher without thinking at Commando. Even if the one in XCF hasn't the military green standard color. I even use it a bit longer than I should because of the movie.

Well, maybe such ideas would fit the I.D.T. mod better. But if I think something is cool and fits XCF, then sure :)
